Comedian Owen Benjamin on polygyny

For those not familiar with him, Owen Benjamin is a comedian who left Hollywood, having been kicked out for opposing those promoting transgenderism among children.

Owen "Big Bear" Benjamin is very funny, but is extremely controversial. He has been kicked off every major social media outlet (YouTube,Twitter, PayPal, Instagram, Patreon, and even Airbnb).

Owen gets highly offensive sometimes but he does promote big families, homesteading, homeschooling, etc.

Lately, he has been talking occasionally about polygyny, and saying.
(1) That it isn't wrong
(2) Patriarchy and big families good
(3) Polygyny is coming back because of:
- Times of hardship
- Many men are weak and unable to lead, protect, and provide for women and children.

Anyway, he is saying polygyny is not sinful and that it is inevitably coming back.

There are tens of thousands of people that listen to him daily, via a number of online outlets.

Owen's Christian theology is mixed up in some important ways, but he is promoting Jesus, Bible, patriarchy, quitting porn, hard work, homesteading, lack of fear, and now to some extent polygyny.

Here is a link to a recent Livestream of his where he talks a lot about polygyny. He rambles a lot, but the polygyny talk starts somewhere around 25 minutes I think.

Right on!
“Not for me”
“But I won’t”

He’s already halfway there.

Not everyone needs, wants to, or should have more than one wife. Everyone just needs to be honest about what the Bible says, and not get in the way of sincere people who want to. It is good to see people moving in the right direction.
:)
I absolutely agree, but with this guy’s views and heart.......I’d be surprised if he doesn’t go there.

I could see that. I wouldn't be too surprised. Going from Hollywood to North Idaho, patriarchy, homeschooling, and homesteading is quite a move.

It may be yet from comedians I see who still live in LA and how they have to live with their families, I would rather take the "patriarchy" (a woman who wants a man as the head of the home? *GASP*, I'm toxic, ya'll), homeschooling, and homesteading versus dealing with constant crime, the noise, and... It is just not a place for families. I see couples, who are voice actors, in their 30s, childless, and have MISSED clubbing and cocktail parties, and also if they may have more conservative leanings, they can't publically say it because they would not get work or their fanbase will turn on them. That is not the way to live.
