Yes, so governments will be able to justify more brutal and suppressive controls on the people which will enable them to kill off the opposition. Welcome to the new world order. :)

This is how tyranny progresses. They impose some sort of harsh decree and then see who responds. Those people get arrested and tossed into prison to prevent them from agitating more people...as we saw with the January 6th people.

Then it moves on and on. Until at some point imprisoning people is no longer necessary. At that point people are just murdered by their own government and no one dares to say a thing in opposition.

Yet eventually all tyrannies are overthrown - although often the overthrowers end up worse than the government they overthrew and then have to be themselves overthrown in turn, going through a few iterations before the tyranny is finally actually gone!

But the first leaders to rise up always get their heads cut off, and the ones who take charge of the new system and stabilise it into something workable, surviving to actually lead it into the future, are leaders who rose up later in the revolution to pick up the pieces.

This leaves a dilemma. If you lead a "revolution", you'll probably die. If you wait to join in later, you'll probably do well. But then if nobody starts it, and you keep waiting for someone else to but they never do, you're completely stuffed...

What a short memory.

Didn't work on covid. And in East Germany in 89.

They may try. Will they be successful is question.

You can move things in right direction and lowering societal disturbances in several months by very active reduction of mandarin class.
