No, I don’t think you should respond. You’re right that it would be useless. I do think it would be very funny if he could meet you though.
Yeah....I sincerely hoped for a sisterwife....and at times despaired and almost lost hope (hope dies hard) and we were actually monogamous (not just legally monogamous...but changed up who we were with) so I was a first wife in a secure marriage (not the wife of a cheater who desides I might as well accept the inevitable)
AND THIS WAS and
IS MY FIRST CHOICE for how to spend the rest of my life!
Another aspect...my husband was NOT looking for another. He was satisfied with just me and could/would have been for the rest of his life.....but this set of circumstances came about .....and this sweet, smart, lovely, amazingly compatible lady came along.......and here we are.
I am writing as we cross New Mexico, heading to Tulsa. I don't know how long I'm going to be gone....probably 2 weeks at least....maybe longer. I am so thankful for that wonderful lady that is going to be there "holding the home fort" and caring for everyone.
Sooo. Another quote I like is that "A man (or woman) with knowledge is NOT at the mercy of a man (or woman) with an opinion."
Joel, Mike, and others that want to deny and ignore the black and white reality of polygyny in the scriptures....and prefer to believe in their theological creation made up by from their own contradictory (to polygyny) feelings and reading between the lines ....who then try and make others accept their own imagined reality as morally superior? Well, no matter how many butts fill the pews, or subscribe/follow their channel....they are just "legends
in their own minds" .... people with an opinion....and I/we have more then that guiding and strenthening us in our course of life.
