Surprised more haven't commented on this. I believe secular cases for polygyny will eventually carry more weight for the legalization cause than religious (legalization isn't needed for we who believe marriage is purely religious, but it legitimizes it in the eyes of society). Demystifying it and eliminating unwarranted stigmas will be aided by such writings. One of the chapters is on "function over form".

It's a pretty expensive book, but I look forward to reading it.
 
i agree it's the way it looks like it's going to go (legalizing poly) but it will be more like legalized polyamory than anything else. I still maintain the ideal would be to decriminalize poly but that's not how we do things... We need more laws not fewer :rolleyes:
