We got the privilege to get together with the Platt family yesterday for a hike, picnic, and some time of the kids just getting to play together while we talked. It was great to get together with like minded Christians and have the freedom to discuss the whole of God's Word without fear. Our families are much alike, but we also celebrate the diverse backgrounds and gifts God has given for the edification of us all.
We hope to get together once a month or so as we have opportunity and wondered if there are others in New England area that might want to get together for fellowship. There has been discussion of a retreat in our area and we wondered where else folks might be and what may be a good location to meet up for a longer time of fellowship, whether a weekend, holiday, or other time would be fine. I work M-F 230-1030pm so Saturday into Sunday is fine for us.
