Over the last several weeks I have written an article titled Paul's Position on Polygyny. It has been posted several places, including 113Restoration.com's Resources Page, Academia.edu as an unpublished draft and in the resources on natsab.com's Biblical marriage page.

The paper is intended to prompt thought and investigation into what the Bible, and specifically Paul, actually says about marriage. But most importantly, it sheds some light on the root of monogamy only and why the Roman State went that direction.

A number of readers on this site offered some great suggestions that helped sharpen the argument in the final edit stages. Thanks to those who offered some thoughts!

Hopefully, it will help push the ball forward!
