Prayers for my husband

My husband is the sole provider of our household after a stroke like episode back in March left me unable work anymore. (Truly a blessing in disguise.) My husband is an incredibly hard worker, and pulls in 80 hours a week sometimes just to make ends meet. An opportunity has emerged that will allow my husband to become a contract worker making double what he makes currently. The potential cons would be that he could be sent out of state or country for an extended period of time, and we would have to figure out medical insurance.
Please pray, that YHWH will lead and guide my husband. His will be done in this. Thanks all!

Will be praying that Abba give you wisdom and that your husband get the best and leave the worst... i.e., good jobs and close work... few to no deployments...

Brachot!

we would have to figure out medical insurance.

They diligently point out that they're not an insurance provider, but what is "insurance"?
They even have a note... http://www.chministries.org/legalnotices.aspx
  • Especially for Oklahoma Residents:

This is not an insurance policy. It is a voluntary program that is neither approved, endorsed or regulated by the Oklahoma Department of Insurance and the program is not guaranteed under the Oklahoma Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association.

....but in practice, it functions like insurance, particularly with regard to the health insurance mandate.

Given your husband's situation, it would be worthwhile to consider their pre-existing condition policy.

I have never needed to submit a "claim" (Thank God!), so I really have no meaningful experience to relate.
Though, I did call them once and was soon connected with a human; he was polite, and it was a pleasant experience.
Lots of info about them available on the Internet.

Thank you so much for the information. I will show this to my husband when he gets back to town.
You know I'll be praying for you guys on this. I know your hubby gets very tired with 80 hours/wk. He's human, not a robot, and the body just wears down. Keep us posted on this, please!
Thanks so much. Yes, he is definitely not a robot. He is so tired these days, and we are ready for him to have a little rest.
Praying for you both!
Thanks for the prayers!

Thank you for the prayers. Yes, somewhere close to home would be wonderful. It's hard when he is gone.
Prayers, may you and your husband be granted wisdom, and may all concerns be worked out.
Thanks so much!
Praying for your husband and everyone connected to this critical decision.
Thank you!
