Priests in the New Covenant?

How can anyone be a Priest today if they can't trace their family origin back to the tribe of Levites?

The New Testament has no qualifications to become a priest. Instead it has qualifications on becoming a bishop, elder, or deacon. Lord Jesus is our High Priest.

So how can anyone call themselves a priest if they are not from the tribe of Levites?

Look at this rebuke from YAH regarding the 10 tribes of Israel that were united together:

1 Kings 13:33
But even after this, Jeroboam did not turn from his evil ways. He continued to choose priests from the common people. He appointed anyone who wanted to become a priest for the pagan shrines.

Isn't that what is happening today? Anyone can become a priest. Including those with desires for pedophilia:

May the Lord's will be done on that whore church. For it's written - Vengeance is mine. I will repay.

It's important to note - the people within the Catholic Church are simply deceived, and God calls them my people. But at the same time there is a warning present too:

Revelation 18:4
Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.

Just to address the fundamental question rather than talk about the Catholic church's sins:

The Bible has several examples of priests who are not of the tribe of Levi. Jesus himself for one - He is a priest after the order of Melchizadek, not Levi. Melchizadek himself being another example. Noah may be seen as a priest also, more informally. Moses' father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And so forth. The levitical priesthood is just one order of priests - and the priesthood is now changed (Hebrews 7:12).

If priests are to exist in the Church today (which is obviously highly debatable itself, but hypothetically), they would be serving under the Great High Priest, Jesus, who is in a different priestly order to the Levitical one. So there would be no reason for such a priest to be a Levite.

What guidelines do we have from scripture that qualifies a man to become a priest under the High Priest - Lord Jesus? We have guidelines for elders, deacons, and bishops. But not for priests. There also isn’t one person that can trace himself back to the tribe of levites. Therefore, I think it’s safe to say it’s un-biblical to have priests in the new covenant.

All true believers are part of His holy and royal priesthood.

1 Peter 2:4-5 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Revelation 1:6 "And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; ..."

We are all priests.

Every husband/father is the priest of his home.
There are no earthly priests over him.

Check the org. chart.
The husband is head of the wife.
Yeshua is head over the husband.
Ya is head over Yeshua.

Amen. All true believers become not only saints of God - but also enter into his priesthood. Which sacrifices are pleasing to God?

Hebrews 13:15-16

15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
