I could relate a story from the local church pastor. Some guys asked him one time, "Don't you think we deserve to get some rain?" You can guess how he responded to that.

That may be true, but loving another person really shouldn't always be tied to whether or not s/he deserves it.

And maybe I never deserved her, either.

What I do know is that I'll never be sorry our paths intertwined for a couple years.
