Dude, she was fake. Faker than fake. With me only having said hello in the welcome thread, she slid into my DMs and volunteered that she was 18, that she has family in the US and "have visit US many time before", that she had "lots of Mormon bibles," wanted to "have my own babies soon", and that she wouldn't need a visa to come be my wife. With me expressing zero interest whatsoever.

She also started calling me Steve...

As someone who deals with a lot of Chinese and Hong Kong citizens on a weekly basis as part of my job, her English grammar didn't even resemble someone from China or Hong Kong. It more resembled someone from Pakistan, India, or Bangladesh.

On another side, not getting attention by scammers is good.
 
What concerns me about this line of messages is nothing is pointing towards God in most of the messages especailly the last ones. How can your peers grow when your salivating over a female. Men lead do not get it looped back words. We are here to grow closer to God please stay focused on praying and reading Gods word and digging into it.

Well Moonwalker5, there is a reality about biblical Marriages. That is, they do not happen if the man is not interested in a lady. So, "salivating" might be your description of it but it is a natural desire that GOD himself placed within men to desire women. If they did not have that desire, it would end badly for God's creation.

Let's not shame men or women for desiring a good match. We can still be spirit filled and salivate over our partner/s and/or a potential partner.
 
Read through the messages
Noclue if the account in question is fake or not as I have not interacted eith them. I do know that it hammers home my point I recently touched on in re always get confirmation via video Early...bloody immediately in fact...if someone is acting in good faith then it should not be an issue.

The only way we should operate or accept in this arena should be in good faith.

I am a married man and understand wanting someone and desiring someone but it has to be in the right manner and context everything is to be done in the right way. For my stance the post is hello everyone that means a greeting section. A person seeking to join the forum to grow closer to God and everyone. I personally understand desiring a wife pr wives. But it needs to be done in the right place. To put this in better context imagine I am a complete stranger a non believer who deals with drama ever day and deals with being hurt everyday and then I log into this site and see this post and read could it possible make me lose interest in the site and the people invovled. My mind says yes it could so if there is a chance one non beliver does not hear and God and Jesus then I will not do it and therefore that is how view this. Could the actions on the post cause spiritual ripples effecting someones soul. It could so this is my stance amd I am not shsming anyone I am instead putting God first on a global outreach platform made to draw people closer to God and there future spouse or spouses it has to be done in the right way in Gods word. So with that said I disagree with your approach but respect you and ykur view and opnion as a fellow beliver.
