I am posting this in the mens section not because its a men only discussion but because of the persepctive. Between the current culture and the intervention. Ecclesiastes 7:28 keeps coming to mind. The juice doesn't look worth the squeeze.
The harder I've had to work for something, the more I value and appreciate it. Life is very difficult at times and yes, wearying, but the blessings that follow make it worthwhile. Having more than one wife is an awesome blessing.I am posting this in the mens section not because its a men only discussion but because of the persepctive. Between the current culture and the intervention. Ecclesiastes 7:28 keeps coming to mind. The juice doesn't look worth the squeeze.
The Ecclesiastes is a reference specifically to the current state of women. The weariness is a reference to the fight between the flesh and the spirit. It is natural to desire a woman, but there doesn't seem to be any worth desiring.I don't see what Ecclesiastes 7:28 has with feeling weariness.
It has zero with lack of virtue, but your mind perception of futileness of effort. Why do you think bears/hedgehogs have winter sleep? Simply put, there is no food, therefore searching for food is futile, therefore energy conservation is must till arrival of better time.
Humans do same. No rewards for energy expenditure, therefore it's best just to wait which is perceived as depression, constant tiredness, weariness etc....
There are some very objective bad things. Economy sucks for many people, war party who feel need to start WW3 as matter of their survival, need to keep pressure on Trump to keep him "America-first", constant fighting and no joy make one to think living is useless.
It's also very much perception. You can still joke even under artillery fire.
At the moment I'm travelling across Canada, from Victoria to Toronto, and I'm shocked at the women tattooed and full of piercings. I've seen two men, sodomites, with children, and more flags promoting perverted living than ever before. This country is screwed. No wonder you can't find any women worth desiring. The Ecclesiastes is a reference specifically to the current state of women. This is what I am referring to, the constant reminder. Imagine trying to hibernate in the middle of a forest of bakerys, all while knowing the food is inedible. At the moment I'm travelling across Canada, from Victoria to Toronto, and I'm shocked at the women tattooed and full of piercings. Hahaha, good analogy. This is what I am referring to, the constant reminder. Imagine trying to hibernate in the middle of a forest of bakerys, all while knowing the food is inedible.
I don't see in Ecclesiastes reference anything connected with sexual desire, just lack of virtue. The Ecclesiastes is a reference specifically to the current state of women. I often feel this way.. But I do have one amazing woman and am trying to raise a bunch of daughters that will be good help meets for up and coming or even established patriarchs so that keeps me busy and hopeful. It just sorrowful to see so many going to waste. This is what I am referring to, the constant reminder. Imagine trying to hibernate in the middle of a forest of bakerys, all while knowing the food is inedible.
Lets just say where I am located, there is much haughtiness, over done peircings/tattoos, the colored hair, intervention uptake, and modern morals and unless divinely told otherwise intervention uptake alone is immediate disqualification, so that alone turns the pool into a puddle.I don't see in Ecclesiastes reference anything connected with sexual desire, just lack of virtue.
There are there worthy of desire. With millions of people, some Christians must be there. So you are either looking in wrong place or you are feeling lazy to "fix woman/find real woman hiding under PC shell".
JabsWhat is intervention uptake?
Are you in place with less than 5000 humans?Lets just say where I am located, there is much haughtiness, over done peircings/tattoos, the colored hair, intervention uptake, and modern morals and unless divinely told otherwise intervention uptake alone is immediate disqualification, so that alone turns the pool into a puddle.
Ha, conservative men? Those are just as rare around me. Surrounded by normies. Are you in place with less than 5000 humans?
If not, please check other neighbors. Or not usual bars. Or ask conservati men where are normal people.
Defeatism abounds in you.Ha, conservative men? Those are just as rare around me. Surrounded by normies.
I am simply speaking what I see. I don't have any desire towards modern vehicles either. They simply don't appeal to me, nothing wrong with that, its just personal preference. To this day I think I have more apendages and limbs then I know (in person) unvaccinated people. I am not saying they don't exist, just that in my experience they are few and far between.Defeatism abounds in you.
Oh yes that is not something you want in your house.Jabs
Perfect analogy. And if you submit to the flesh - temporary pleasure - chances are that in time she will divorce you - take your wealth - your children - put you on child support - and then you will be worse off than before the hibernation. It’s like the garden of Eden. The forbidden fruit looks nice and tasty, but if you bite it you’re going to pay a hefty price. This is what I am referring to, the constant reminder. Imagine trying to hibernate in the middle of a forest of bakerys, all while knowing the food is inedible.
