• Biblical Families is not a dating website. It is a forum to discuss issues relating to marriage and the Bible, and to offer guidance and support, not to find a wife. Click here for more information.

Chelle from Madrid

Hi, I'm Meritxell from Madrid, Spain. I'm a young graduate in languages- and work as a translator and interpretor. I have a young child from a non-relationship but am now fiancée to a man who is familiar with both biblical marriages and to your religion. My flat is small and anarchic, so our plan is to share the family home with my boyfriend, Al, and his first wife Emma- and I stay there sometimes. I have been reading your forum for some time, and find it really useful, but at the moment I'm a little ignorant of some of the themes- especially religion, or problems with people who understand less about these type of relationships. I may be able to contribute to the forum sometimes as you all seem really nice and seems like you want to accept new members.

Welcome and I am glad you found us and I am glad you have found the forum useful.

A primary purpose of the forum is teaching and education. We very much welcome honest questions if you have any.

God bless you, and best wishes on building your new family and let us know if we can help in any way.

P.S. It would be really cool if you could get your fiance on here. We would love to meet him, too.

Thanks for the comments and the thoughtful response- I know it takes time to write any comment, so it is kind of you to do so. I'm new to this site, so with a bit of patience I will be able to understand the spiritual side of the people here, and the love and common sense behind it.
Awesome. Take your time. There are lots of practical insights that you can glean from this site as well, but many of them are rooted in biblical scripture, so I wanted you to understand the context. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Thanks for the welcoming notes- this is early days for me, but I do love your comments and invitation!!!

thanks for the reply and your guidance- there seems to be a lot to learn- the forum seems to be a big repository of practical wisdom, so I'm sure I'll be swimming in it before too long.
