Daughter of Philip

Welcome to Biblical Families!

You have uncommon parents. Most Christians don't understand multi wife families to be moral and valid... and I appreciate your high regard for your folks!

Our daughter @Lanora115 has been on here a while. Sometimes there isn't as much of interest to the unmarried, but it is a great bunch of women here should you ever get a chance to meet them.

Retreats are awesome!

I hope you enjoy being here.

Thank you everyone for your welcomes ^_^ Hey, am I allowed to copy and paste my introduction on the 25 and under forum?

Of course! That would sure be easier then typing it all again.
I'm glad you posted in the main section though, posting in the 25 and under is restricted and only the few active younger folk would have been able to comment.

I'd also like to encourage you to not be anti-feminist but to be pro-feminine. We are better people when we are defined by what we love than what we loathe. ;)

Huh, that's a really good point. I like that ^_^

Sorry, that didn't turn into a quote for some reason

Welcome! :)

Just to be perfectly clear, yes, Emily is my daughter.

Welcome!

Hey, when you said have several Anima lovers in your family, are you talking about the Japanese kind? 'Cuz I like that too! Well, I mean, I don't watch it because of they're questionable stuff, but I do like the style of it and I want to make my own anime shows!

Yeah, there are a lot of anime that have questionable stuff but there are a few that I have seen that are about various positive things. You definitely need to have wisdom in what you watch, and what is age appropriate. I thought all anime was Japanese! lol Showing that I don't really know much about it. Also, I suspect there are many variations on how it is drawn. I wonder if there are any faith based anime books or shows?

Oh wait, I forgot, there is a very old Christion anime called Superbook, it's the only anime we watch. All anime is Japanese, I was just asking that because some people use "anime" for short for "animation". Anime does have lot's of styles that's it drawn, my favorite anime style is called "Moe", which is the one my profile picture has. Since anime can do lot's of strange things, I feel like I can get away with sharing my beliefs in anime shows I want to make!

Superbook has been redone and has much better graphics now. It isn't anime, but it's really well done. We watch it with our children, highly recommend it. I particularly love how they show Satan as an angel since that's what he is, and they show just how deceiving he can be that way.

Oh yeah! We watch the new version as well!

No, can you please tell me more about it? ^_^
Here's the intro. I only let my older kids watch it because it's a bit graphic. The girl in red is a red blood cell and her job is to deliver oxygen around the body. The white guy is a white blood cell and he's there to attack foreign bodies. It introduces bacteria and viruses as monsters and zombies etc. I think we got up to the cancer episode, we need to get back into it. The little children in it are platelets and they are so cute, my kids love them!

Interesting, I'll ask what my Dad thinks of it

Oops, it turned my reply into a quote.

It's all good. Newbies sometimes do that with quotes. I'm good at reading between the lines/quotes ;).

It's a great way to learn microbiology, particularly around disease and immunity. It's actually surprisingly accurate and teaches many things well. While being a gripping, hilarious and cute show to watch.
