Hello everyone!

I wanted to introduce my wife and I. We are a couple in our 40s with 2 children and the Lord willing, more on the way. We are a homeschooling and homesteading family who has been through the battles of life, seen the heart of the beast of feminism up close and personal and lived to fight another day, and are thoroughly convicted of God's beautiful and powerful plan and design in plural marriage/polygyny within the bigger scope of Biblical marriage and family. We are working on extricating ourselves from the "system", becoming self sufficient, and building a foundation for our children to stand on our shoulders in the wisdom that God has so graciously revealed to us! I am a pastor who has served in mainstream churches, "system" churches, mission field, support to pastors and missionaries, and multiple church plants. We grieve the destruction of the American family and the American church although it was more or less dysfunctional all along. Seeing how feminism has corrupted the church from the beginning through monogamy only theology is a disorientating paradigm shift that we had to go through. It is humbling and painful to come to grips with how we have been deceived but it is thrilling to see God's perfect and beautiful design for the family and for marriage. We see new and amazing blessings that stem from polygyny all the time as we study and learn more about it as God gave it to us. My wife grew up with polygyny but later through worldly influences turned from it back to the mainstream monogamy position. She did not have all knowledge and ability to stand up against the secular church if you will. Now we "return" to it standing on solid Biblical ground and hearts full of gratitude for how much God loves us, in spite of us! The most glorious application of the Gospel is building healthy, joyful families and marriages and polygyny is at the heart of that! Will God call us to bring a second wife into our family? We are open to it but God's calling is more important than whether we think that is our path or not. God will direct us into it if He so chooses and we wait with open hearts and open minds for whatever He might do. We look forward to getting to know you all on this forum, Please say hi if you have a minute!

Welcome, you guys sound like you are doing well. 😊

Greetings and welcome to the Biblical Families forum. Thanks for the introduction. As a former pastor I know the battles and challenges one faces when you take a stand for the truth regarding biblical marriage. It's a privilege to see God's hand of providential blessings as He directs you in the journey. Shalom

Welcome! Thank you for the wonderful introduction. I hope you will find some good things here and make some good connections with others walking this path.

So glad to hear your story. Welcome! Keep returning to the narrow path.
Thank you Victorious! Love the username! Absolutely, if we just remember that we have victory in Jesus Christ, how many of our perceived problems would just fade away? It definitely is a narrow path and so so many do not have eyes to see it....We are thankful that God has given us vision and clarity to see it...it does seem like a curse at times!;)

Thanks, Frederick. So glad to hear from another pastor! Yes, I have had my fill of "system" churches...which are no churches at all....Christianity has all but become a cultural religion in the US, no different then the Jews of Jesus' day. It is a lonely path for sure! But filled with blessing....we wouldn't trade it. We are still navigating the path out of some of the system we are still connected to....one of those things and a big one is Biblical marriage....the system, the population at large, and the vast majority of what is considered the system church out there does not understand....yes. God directs and God provides....Thanks for your encouragement!

Thank you, Julie! We hope so too! God always brings good things...sometimes in the midst of mess but He always provides...We do seek connections in the Biblical marriage community....we are surrounded by the mainstream church right now and it is lonely.
