The portion of the story of the life of the patriarch Abraham that includes both the demise of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the "binding of Isaac" that unmistakably foreshadows the Messiah, but actually has even more to it than that, is about as pertinent and relevant today as anything in Scripture. For a number of obvious reasons.
But the one that I suggest is not only central to these stories, but vital to our understanding of how we should walk TODAY has to do with two phrases that appear repeatedly here, and actually sum up most of the world pretty well today.
"There is NO FEAR of Elohim" in this place. Pick a country...
