The thing is, I suspect that most plyg families are simply not interesting or controversial or full of enough drama to be interesting to read about.

That was my observation a long time ago is that most of the thing about poly is decidedly domestic. Cooking, chores, child care, and etc. are up front and center. The secular world focuses on the sex but while that is a part of the life the majority of daily life isn't all that exciting.

I guess that's part of why when I hear from ostensibly poly people it's the ones who don't have much drama going on who I tend to more quickly accept as grounded.

Sure...great, got it. You don’t want more than one wife. Thing is, a close second to the don't want to live polygamy opinion in my experience is the inevitable bit about how many wives/girlfriend one has had in a string of serial monogamy relationships.

Yes, it’s sad to see professed believers of Messiah preferring the light of Lucifer over the flesh of Messiah - which is the everlasting and unchanging word of God.

It's not just spiritual.

It's laziness, lies/false assumptions by society etc...

People to often assume other sex is thinking like theirs. They they get hit by reality. Add refusal to learn sexuality specific skills which many think they aren't needed.

And behold in few years, some guys find wife, happy just because some women wants him....why have another when he is barely able to function with one.

Who is the King of the demons? Lucifer/Satan. The Creator says - which is repeated by the Apostles - that Lucifer is the god of the (rebellious) house of Israel. Not the remnant House of Israel that remained faithful:

Rephan is the god of Saturn. Also, Lucifer/Satan is the god of Saturn. Saturnalia - which was an ancient Roman holiday (celebrated mid-Dec) - was in honor of the god of Saturn. Rome is monogamous in honor of the god of Saturn.

I just happened upon this thread, and found it interesting. I have recently been pondering an adjacent topic- namely how the Watchers of Genesis 6 came down and bred with human women to create the hybrid/defiled race of the Nephilim.

While it isn't biblical Canon (even though some church fathers advocated for it, and the Bible quotes it verbatum at least twice), the book of 1 Enoch goes into detail about how the "Watcher Angels" left heaven and defiled the human race by sleeping with their women- specifically how each (supposedly 200 in number) chose one wife for themselves:

I absolutely do not side with the notion of monogamy itsself being evil, but it is interesting that 1 Enoch specifies this evil event (known by theologians as the second divine rebellion) as being based on a series of unholy monogamous unions between angels and the daughters of men. I think this point is only really applicable in response to people's assumptions that polygamy only results in evil. With Genesis 3 also in mind, it's clear that the first two Divine rebellions actually came from monogamous relationships, even if not a direct result from monogamy itself. Just sayin.

When discussing marriage, it gives me particular pleasure to point out that it was a MONOGAMOUS couple who brought sin, suffering, and death into the human race. I also like to stress the fact that it was a MONOGOMOUS couple whose son became the first murderer. Emphasizing the fact it was monogamy helps take the wind out of their sails.

The Roman Empire - before adopting Christianity as the new official religion - were worshippers of Sol Invictus - and not surprisingly were strictly monogamous. Once again - the forbidding of marriage comes from the doctrines of demons. And Lucifer/Sol Invictus is the prince of the demons (Matthew 12:24).

"By this sign you will conquer." My question - conquer for whom? The Risen Messiah - Yahoshua (Jesus) of Nazareth? Or his sun god? Did Constantine show sings of repentance? A renewal by the Spirit? Submission and respect to the one true God?

America is a Christian country - with the 𐌕-shaped cross that was given to Constantine ruling in every town and city (By this sign you will conquer). But is America guarding the commandments of the Father in Heaven? Things like his Sabbath - biblical marriage - not adopting pagan ways of worship - and such things as those? Or is it guarding the light of Lucifer? Things like not being under God's law anymore - strictly monogamous - adopting pagan ways of worship - sungod day is the new sabbath - and such things as those? These are uncomfortable questions.

Many people get confused in regards to Lucifer meaning "morning star." In the Book of Revelation we read that the Messiah is also called the "Morning Star":

Jesus (Yahoshua/Joshua) is the way, the truth, and the light. He is the Word of God made flesh. Guess what else is the way, the truth, and the life? God's Instructions:



Isaiah 8:20 is clear - To go against the Torah (God's Instructions) is the definition of darkness.
Proverbs 28:4 is clear - To turn your back against God's Instructions is supporting wickedness.
Proverbs 28:9 is clear - Ignoring God's Instructions makes your prayers detestable.
Hosea 4:6 is clear - Rejecting God's Instructions leads to your own destruction.

Satan is the imitator of the light. Therefore, he is an imitator of Jesus (the Light of the world). For example, as santa claus, Satan depicts himself riding on reindeers upon the clouds of heaven. He is an imitator of the Messiah, and he deceives many. Paul said:

Galatians 1:8
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!

God's instructions are already perfect (Psalm 19:7). It's sin to add or take away. It's how we can discern the true light from the fake. It's how the Noble Bereans were able to test Paul.
