Moving on....

Thanks to everyone for the very kind words. I'm honored and humbled.

Samuel has the right of it: I'm not bowing out of BF entirely (you can't get rid of me that easily... ;)), just the forum. Zec, I appreciate what you said, and I had even thought about staying engaged here from a couple of different angles, but ultimately I couldn't come up with anything that wasn't a little weird, at least from my end, and I'm really getting shoved in the direction of focusing on meatspace right now.

Some of y'all may remember that I first started talking about this about this time last year (that is, moving away from online interaction and toward a focus on IRL action in the "Texas Triangle", or "Texaplex"). I may be slow, but I get there eventually. It's also not just this group; I've been team lead for a group of five moderators of an almost 3K member libertarian facebook group for the past year, and that's also about to evaporate. Same reasoning, too: I haven't been nearly as active in the past six months (barely active at all), and it's time for the formalities to catch up with the reality.

And I'll be at the OK retreat, and retreats after that, and I'm still accessible via phone (voice or text), fb messenger, and email, and if you don't have that contact info and want to stay in touch just PM me here. And if you live in Texas, I'll be bothering you soon enough about getting together in person, and if you don't live in Texas, what's the holdup?... ;)

Peace to everybody,
A
