Multi wives

It is just not simple at all, and in fact quite challenging. The older I get the more I think that you have to be blessed with a miracle from God to get there.

The ones that are successful are highly respected, at least in these circles.

You are not being serious. That most important thing.

Men here expect getting two wives, something only 5% max men will ever achieve, will be possible using methods for getting 30% percentile (where 70% of men are better than him) success.

To be fair, some who have gone on TV shows were talked into it as a way to raise awareness of the situation and to show we aren't Warren Jeffs types. My family is close friends with 6 families from such shows, all under the umbrella of Mormondom, and they all went on them during the flip-flopping of decriminalization/criminalization in our neck of the woods. We almost went on one, but decided it would end at least one of our careers permanently to be public, unless we wanted to move to one of two communities where we could still get hired which we just weren't interested in living in either place.

Its very sad to see how same sex relationships is so widely accepted in today's society, but when it comes to a man having multiple wives, it's treated like a crime, the enemy really has alot of people hearts and minds darkened.

I apologize. I did not mean to be/sound judgmental. I am sure many/most of these families were trying to advance the cause and I do appreciate their sacrifices. I am acquaintances with many of them, too. Polygamy in this country is a small world.

I just meant that there are plenty of long term/ strong families that are good examples, but care not for the attention that TV creates.
