New Mindset...Introduction

Sorry for the late welcome. Glad you found us. Hope you will be encouraged here.

I’m just learning about it... “Torah observant sabbath keeping first century christians”. That’s how it was described.

Well, Torah observant & Sabbath keeping, sums up a fair few of us on here now. Though not all. There's different denominations and different schools of thought on here. As for who is actually practicing PM, well there's just as wide a variety of them as well.

Are most people in plural families of the first century Christian faith?

I’d say that some are, and some aren’t. It will vary by family. I’d say that I’d consider myself a Non Torah observant, different sabbath keeping first century Christian.

There’s really a very wide demographic of people who are living or believing in the biblical acceptance of a plural family. And as I’m sure you’ll discover, there’s a plethora of families trying to live plural who have no regard for Christ or a biblical family.

We are quite the mixed bag.
Sometimes we debate theologies to death on the forums, but we manage to act like saints at the retreats that many of us have attended.

I'm Southern Baptist, and I am amazed how many of my fellow Baptist (SBC and IFB) are here on this site.

first century christians
The Orthodox church claims to represent the faith of the first century church. So does the Catholic church. And the entire Protestant reformation was because the reformers wanted to return to the simple faith of the first century church.
Everyone thinks they are first century Christians.
Everyone is wrong. :)
