Questions about polygamy

Hi , my husband started talking to me about polygamy about year ago and I still have feelings that he is only mine. I have recently been feeling unsure about alot of things as he has feelings for a friend of mine and she has feelings for him and sometimes they do stuff together. I have not agreed to anything yet and my feelings just sometimes are alot of jealousy and hurt.

I don't have anyone to talk to about all this, don't get me wrong I do talk to my husband and at the moment I am torn cuz I can see the positive side without the intimacy aspect but I can't see past the fact he wants another woman in his life.

I was cheated on in my previous relationship and it was with a friend.
My whole childhood was seeing my parents with different people.
I am scared that people will judge me for it and that my family will judge me for it .

Just wanted to know can anyone relate or help me.

Thanks for sharing @loulou, fully grasping the idea of polygyny takes time but to do it with past hurts of rejection from a man can really muddy the waters of truth. I think it's safe to say that most ladies who are presented with this new truth about Biblical marriage deal with jealousy, hurt and fear as they work through understanding what God says about marriage. The idea of going against society is very scary for most of us.

I understand it might be hard to join in on the Ladies chat due to being in Australia so I would be happy to talk with you more about Biblical marriage through DM's, or you can email me at julie@biblicalfamilies.org. Sarah, who is @FollowingHim2 lives in New Zealand and she would also be happy to chat with you. She will at least be in your time zone! God sees you and he knows what your heart needs to be at peace, trust in that.
