Another wise man once said “all that glitters is not gold”A wise man would consider the opportunities presented to him by our God.
Sadly true.Another wise man once said “all that glitters is not gold”
A little opportunity perhaps, but sadly it's not a pro-poly assembly so my heart goes out to all the lonely women.A wise man would consider the opportunities presented to him by our God.
PROCAFFEINATING:Iv got to have 2 large cups of coffee before I can function lol.
We saw the launch of something here lastnight. Our family shares your sentiments....and liked the sky without all the man made junk up there! We just watched a line of Starlink satellites go past. When they began, there were maybe half a dozen in a row. Now, they went from horizon to horizon and just kept coming - I didn't count as I wasn't expecting they'd keep coming like that, but I'd guess maybe 200 satellites in a row.
They're an amusing novelty for now, but that will wear thin very fast if the numbers keep growing. The night sky is being destroyed for astronomers by this insane level of light pollution. Maybe eventually they'll be constantly visible, and there will never be a clear view of the sky without at least one of these in it.
So sorry if she has to stay till somebody better is elected.Oh no, she'll just have to stay there....

There is always good reason to fly Jacinda to wildreness. It's even funnier (or not that funny) because the NZ air force operates such ancient transport planes that they have constant problems with breakdowns. When the Afghanistan withdrawal happened last year people were talking about whether our government should send an aeroplane to pick up NZers left on the ground - but the main gossip I saw was about whether it would even get there and back without breaking down. The Hercules she was flying on was purchased around 1965.
The newest transport planes the RNZAF uses are two Boeing 757s which are already 30 years old, and were purchased second-hand from an airline in 2003. They constantly break down also. One was used for Ardern's trip to the USA earlier in the year, and broke down while in the USA.
Hopefully there's never an actually important reason for the airforce to fly people anywhere...US trip: Breakdown Betty Boeing will be replaced, one day
Air force plane's malfunctions not ideal but solution some way off, Govt says.www.nzherald.co.nz
