Today is the anniversary of one of the most important dates in American history, as well as some of the most EVIL dates in AmeriKan history:

The real "Patriot's Day" is to remember April 19th, 1775, the date of the "Shot Heard 'Round the World," at Lexington and Concord Green, when the Redcoats came to try their version of gun confiscation.

Later, it was the day Lincoln blockaded southern ports, and ensured the War to End the Voluntary union of States in 1861. In 1943, the Warsaw Ghetto revolt against the Nazis was 'resolved' on this same day.

It was also the date of Janet Reno and Bill Klinton's Final Solution in Waco, Texas, when they burned a 7th Day Adventist sect church and dorm, and then executed via snipers anyone who tried to escape out the backside of the building, out of view of the distant network news cameras, killing 76, including 17 children. Two years to the day later, a false flag in Oklahoma City took out more children, and the incriminating evidence stored there, via demolition charges on the steel-reinforced concrete support pillars.

Like in Waco, the cover-up included demolition of the structures, removal of all forensic evidence, and covering of the site with dirt brought in to destroy the 'chain of evidence.' While the guilty, even though now senile, reaped the reward of perfidy in the form of a rigged election.
I knew someone who lost a grandchild in that mess.

I was homeschooled and I thought my parents were paranoid about evil creeping into public schools in the 80's and 90's. They weren't.

If I had a kid homeschooling and limited, supervised access to the internet is the only option.
It's funny what you see in retrospect.

We homeschool (primarily Abeka, though they have bowed too much) and our oldest (pre-teen boy) does not have or want unfettered access to the Internet as he sees clearly why. My work is 100% online and highly technical, but our kids don't use tablets (we don't own one), cell phones, or browse willy-nilly. At the same time, he understands very well the AI revolution to come and the core of what I do.

It's a fine line, but results in happier, healthier kids.

Just found out the granddaughter of the pastor of a church we used to attend is transitioning. They were a pretty tight knit family. It’s sad to see, I believe she’s somewhere around 12-15 years old. On another note, he pooh-poohed my advocating for christians to homeschool and he personally shunned me after he and I had a discussion about biblical marriage. It’s a fairly conservative church as far as modern churches are concerned and claim to hold to sola scriptura.

I've talked to so many Christians that care about their kids and morality but just won't homeshool. They all claim their school is different, or that raising them in a Christian household will make the difference. So much for that theory.

It’s an embarrassment to the body of Christ that churches haven’t called on all believers to pull their kids out of the public fool system. At what point would children be better off without schooling? Would it be better to pull them out before or after they have their genitalia sliced off? What good is an “education” when the children have been so indoctrinated with mental illness that they cannot even think straight?... pun intended

They should rebellion against all forms of state authority over children. That is real problem.

What else do you expect from Maltusians (lower population is always better) and "I deserve all power" crowd?

“But our local school is a good one. It’s not like all of the other ones.”

Except the teachers were trained by the same instigators.
P.s. There are good teachers and bad teachers in every school.

Right?! Unless you’re there every day, you don’t know, especially since there have been so many instances of teachers telling children to hide the things they’re learning from their parents.

Should we be surprised?

The US standard railroad gauge (distance between the rails) is 4 feet, 8.5 inches. That's an exceedingly odd number. Why was that gauge used? Well, because that's the way they built them in England, and English engineers designed the first US railroads. Why did the English build them like that? Because the first rail lines were built by the same people who built the wagon tramways, and that's the gauge they used. So, why did 'they' use that gauge then? Because the people who built the tramways used the same jigs and tools that they had used for building wagons, which used that same wheel spacing. Why did the wagons have that particular odd wheel spacing? Well, if they tried to use any other spacing, the wagon wheels would break more often on some of the old, long distance roads in England . You see, that's the spacing of the wheel ruts. So who built those old rutted roads? Imperial Rome built the first long distance roads in Europe (including England ) for their legions. Those roads have been used ever since. And what about the ruts in the roads? Roman war chariots formed the initial ruts, which everyone else had to match or run the risk of destroying their wagon wheels. Since the chariots were made for Imperial Rome , they were all alike in the matter of wheel spacing. Therefore the United States standard railroad gauge of 4 feet, 8.5 inches is derived from the original specifications for an Imperial Roman war chariot. Bureaucracies live forever. So the next time you are handed a specification/procedure/process and wonder 'What horse's a*s came up with this?', you may be exactly right. Imperial Roman army chariots were made just wide enough to accommodate the rear ends of two war horses. (Two horses' as*es.) Now, the twist to the story: When you see a Space Shuttle sitting on its launch pad, there are two big booster rockets attached to the sides of the main fuel tank. These are solid rocket boosters, or SRBs. The SRBs are made by Thiokol at their factory in Utah . The engineers who designed the SRBs would have preferred to make them a bit fatter, but the SRBs had to be shipped by train from the factory to the launch site. The railroad line from the factory happens to run through a tunnel in the mountains, and the SRBs had to fit through that tunnel. The tunnel is slightly wider than the railroad track, and the railroad track, as you now know, is about as wide as two horses' behinds. So, a major Space Shuttle design feature, of what is arguably the world's most advanced transportation system, was determined over two thousand years ago by the width of a horse's a*s. And you thought being a horse's a*s wasn't important? Ancient horse's as*es control almost everything. 😁😁

Just me but I like narrow gauge railways of one meter and one yard. I guess those were designed by just one horse's ass. :)

[Verse 1]
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they called Gitche Gumee
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy
With a load of iron ore twenty-six thousand tons more
Than the Edmund Fitzgerald weighed empty
That good ship and true was a bone to be chewed
When the gales of November came early

[Verse 2]
The ship was the pride of the American side
Coming back from some mill in Wisconsin
As the big freighters go, it was bigger than most
With a crew and good captain well seasoned
Concluding some terms with a couple of steel firms
When they left fully loaded for Cleveland
And later that night when the ship's bell rang
Could it be the north wind they'd been feelin'?

[Verse 3]
The wind in the wires made a tattle-tale sound
And a wave broke over the railing
And every man knew, as the captain did too
'Twas the witch of November come stealin'
The dawn came late and the breakfast had to wait
When the gales of November came slashin'
When afternoon came it was freezin' rain
In the face of a hurricane west wind

[Verse 4]
When suppertime came the old cook came on deck sayin'
"Fellas, it's too rough to feed ya"
At seven P.M. a main hatchway caved in, he said
"Fellas, it's been good to know ya"
The captain wired in he had water comin' in
And the good ship and crew was in peril
And later that night when his lights went outta sight
Came the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

[Verse 5]
Does any one know where the love of God goes
When the waves turn the minutes to hours?
The searchers all say they'd have made Whitefish Bay
If they'd put fifteen more miles behind her
They might have split up or they might have capsized
They may have broke deep and took water
And all that remains is the faces and the names
Of the wives and the sons and the daughters

[Verse 6]
Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings
In the rooms of her ice-water mansion
Old Michigan steams like a young man's dreams
The islands and bays are for sportsmen
And farther below Lake Ontario
Takes in what Lake Erie can send her
And the iron boats go as the mariners all know
With the gales of November remembered

[Verse 7]
In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed
In the Maritime Sailors' Cathedral
The church bell chimed 'til it rang twenty-nine times
For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early!

Good song. I actually lived in Michigan many years ago and went to a college that was right on Lake Superior.

Song is not wrong. Lake Superior is an icy mess for over half the year. The city I lived in on Lake Superior got over 200 inches of snow a year, sometimes 300.

Agreed! That's gross!
And it all sounds good right now, because they're just 'preventing disease', but how long before this is used so that throuples can have a kid that's related to all of them? Or they start replacing genes with ones they want, like for hair colour, breast size, etc. Where does it end? Because if we know anything about science, we know that it's easily corrupted.

The fact a fertilized egg's mitochondria is removed and implanted into another. It's abortion and conjoined twins at the same time. How do explain that to the resulting child?

Good question.
A bigger one is how do you explain it to Yah when you don’t believe in abortion?

The doctors certainly will be in for a suprise when their mitochondria are ripped out of their cells by atomic rocks being hurled at them through fire. At least, if they don't repent.
