In NZ there was a facility where they put up signs that included braille on them, only the braille was just printed on and not raised bumps. They quickly came out and said they were just temporary signs and replaced them with the permanent ones. I don't know if that was true, but it was quite amusing.

Could it be that Isaac was autistic?
He was 40 years old and still attached to his mother, his father sent the servant to choose a wife for him. He was also deceived by Rebecca.
He was so passive...

It has also been suggested that he may have had Downs, which would also explain all of the above.

Reading between the lines I think it's probable that he was "different" in some way, it's the only thing that explains why Abraham explicitly forbade the servant from taking him to get a wife. But I don't think we can determine in which way he was different from the limited information in scripture.

So many birthdays in July. The family is finally through them all. Only one left in August and another in September and we're done for the year. :)
We have five birthdays in a bit over six weeks...starting late June and running into the first week of July. Three in July. If we count extended family I know of another three at least in July. We also have in just our immediate family August, September, two in November, December, three in January, two in March and one in May. Lots of very good reasons to celebrate!

It's funny how birthdays tend to bunch up. May and December are our busy birthday months. And December is the worst month to have loads of birthdays, because there are heaps of end of year events and Christmas in there as well.

We have 2 nieces that have the same birthday 4 years apart. You just can't plan stuff like that!

Maybe December is best time.

Whole month celebration as reward for whole-year work.

What is the reason people join this forum and then are gone 2 weeks later, never to be heard from again. I notice that happens a lot.
It can be for many reasons, "crushed expectations" or something changes in the family dynamic or life just happens.
