Right on, but it’ll never happen.
Homeschooling is where it is at.

Interesting theory:

The more man is seen as leader more peace will be in his house.
I can’t tell you how hugely this plays into the relationships in a plural family.

There is a lot of serious flooding in the north of Yellowstone Park and into Montana. We've had heavy rain and some minor flooding around the Cody area but nothing like they're getting along the Wyoming-Montana border.

We're doing fine here. The creeks are up and the Shoshone River are up but so far it's not so bad.

Another reason why I won't ever let our kids be sacrificed to the demon Moloch who runs the public schools.

Here in Eastern Washington, we are having surprisingly cold, and extremely wet weather.

America was still using common law as recently as the 90’s I believe. And even the statutory law we switched to is basically just the common law. Supreme Court cases still cite it heavily.
I had a class on law as related to agriculture and natural resources in school back in 2007. The law professor talked a great deal about common law.

The impression I had was that common law prevails wherever there is no statutory law saying otherwise.

I think water rights laws in the Western US generally go back to common law. Water rights are a big deal out here.

I've since come to hold that common law supercedes statutory law (and even Constitutional law), and serves as the proper foundation for other forms of law.

Another reason to be proud to be a Texan . . .

Wasn't the next line in Aquamarine, "I think he can fill both of our gas tanks with his ammo!"

Of course, if I'm remembering that correctly, then this comment belongs in the Movies That Make You Think About Poly thread.

;)

In his very first monologue, he states that people should have "freedom of speech" (within the bounds of the law), but not "freedom of reach". So they can say whatever they like, but that doesn't necessarily mean other people will see it... So he's completely happy with shadowbanning.

Don't hope for any great changes with him in charge.

I do it too, but I drive a Hyundai, since I work 45 minutes away, not an F350 or Suburban. Ten gallons doesn't hurt quite as bad as twenty or more.
Try a Ram 3500 with 32 gal of Diesel and 14 mpg just to go to the range and shoot 500 rounds. lol
