A recent court ruling in Quebec has granted multi-parental families in the province the same legal rights as any other unit.

I think this is getting quite close to establishing polygyny as legal; sadly, probably also legalizing polyandry too

If governments legalized polygyny that would remove one complication for us and perhaps make it more acceptable generally. However, whether governments legalize polyandry or not won't change anything for the rest of us.

Can't avoid since Western legal system doesn't allow discrimination per se. Widespread acceptance.

Only allowable discrimination is "corrective" one toward equality. Also another way is to refuse prosecution of law for some groups.
Only leftist acceptance.

Allowing polygyny without polyandry is giving privilige to one group which is stricly verboten.

Here's where the difference between "legalize" and "de-criminalize" is vital.

I could care less what Big Brother "legalizes", much less licenses (like sodomy, for one example, or child-mutilation)...
but they have no business trying to declare "criminal," and prosecute, what YHVH Himself authorizes.
