Seeking a sister wife in Uk

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but I'll say it anyway and you can work that out for yourselves!

https://www.polygamy.com/ is a polygamous dating website built by a Muslim from the UK, but aimed at people of any religion. Given that it started out in the UK, it may have attracted others who are in your part of the world. You could sign up to that briefly simply to scout out whether there are any other Christian families seeking other wives in your area, and then make contact with them. It's a long shot but it might be worth a look.

Woah!
I peeked in their Terms of Service because of a failed sign-up - it glitched, saying I had not selected a valid date of birth when I had, but I sometimes skim through Terms of Service just in case. I am glad I did in this case, as I found this:

"we remind you that you have sworn by Allah"

Thus it would actually be impermissible for a Christian to accept their Terms of Service, as we are not permitted to swear, much less by a false god. I think God protected me in this case, by that glitch.

Can confirm. Thanks for the info.

Good spotting. Here's the context:
The information that you include about yourself in your profile will be accurate and will be the truthful description of your true self – and we remind you that you have sworn by Allah that you are speaking the truth and any attempt at lying can and will be held against you and legal proceedings may be taken against you.
Whether it's acceptable or not would depend on the meaning you attach to the name "Allah". If you take "Allah" as necessarily implying submission to Islam, this would be impermissible for you as a Christian. But if you take "Allah" as being simply the Arabic for "Elohim" and are comfortable using this name to refer to God as Arabic-speaking Christians do (Christians called God "Allah" long before Islam even existed), then that statement is not necessarily a problem at all. Although you could then object to swearing at all of course - but then you could also say that this wording does not constitute swearing (they're just "reminding" you of something you have not done...).

So it's one of those issues where if you believe it is sinful, then it would be sin for you to do it. Or, if you believe it is not sinful, it is not sinful for you to do it. Because God judges the heart. Romans 14:22-23.

Thanks for pointing it out, this is important for people to see regardless of which conclusion they choose to take on it.

Nicely expressed!!
We have come to know some Muslem families and the thing I found of interest is that when they refer to "Allah" they are speaking about the God of Abraham, the same God that we identify as G-d, Yhwh, Yahweh, God almighty, the father, Jehovah, etc. So this reference "Allah" in the terms of service is not really a problem. The issue is not the use of the name but rather the teachings of Islam and what they have attached to the name, now that's a totally different subject!
