Post us an introduction so we can welcome you too!Hey JJ, I’m not new to this site but this is my first time to post anything. A few years back, I started studying about plural marriage while in Baghdad. I worked for Blackwater. But recently I started studying on a much more serious note. About two or three months ago I realized I was 100% on board. Reading this site let’s me know I am not alone. I’ve also had communications with others. Currently I’m reading Dr Luck’s book Divorce and Remarriage. I’ve gotten so many answers and now I’ve got a lot of new questions. But it feels liberating. I hope to get to know many others as well.

Dr. Luck's scholarship is a great tool.Hey JJ, I’m not new to this site but this is my first time to post anything. A few years back, I started studying about plural marriage while in Baghdad. I really enjoy Dr. Luck’s style of teaching. I plan on reading his teachings on the four gospels after the first of the year. Could you explain about Dr. Luck’s scholarship? I haven’t heard about it.Dr. Luck's scholarship is a great tool.
By scholarship, Mojo, you mean the careful study he's shared with the public via his writings, yes?Dr. Luck's scholarship is a great tool.
Ya, me too. I saw he has other teachings on Amazon. I plan on using his books to study some of the scriptures. I’m reading Marriage and Divorce now. For a guy that break it down for us, he can really get deep.Regarding Dr. Luck - I am not sure this is what @Mojo meant, but I find Dr. Luck’s teachings to generally be well thought out and ‘scholarly’. He generally writes and teaches in a way that works well for me.
I meant what both these gentlemen said, and Dr. Luck's bonafides. It's not just one thing. He's a scholar that's spent years studying scripture, along with theology degrees from some nice places. It's hard to say he's just some nut job who fell off the turnip truck.I really enjoy Dr. Luck’s style of teaching. I plan on reading his teachings on the four gospels after the first of the year. Thanks,
