Sorry, haven't had a lot of time to search for a place as of yet. Was planning on doing it this week and of course that lovely hurricane decided to hit Central Florida where I live. We will post as soon as we decide on something, promise!

I know they have quite an assortment of accommodations but I myself do not know what is required by our families here. Just a suggestion. I have stayed there and it is a very nice place.

Would they have an issue with a bunch of people going Rah Rah Polygamy yaaaah!, or might that gets us tossed out?
Just would be nice to be able to be open about it and not end up in photos posted by some rando on the internet saying "hey, look at all these plig weirdos".

Julie, if you need help finding a place in Texas I would be more than glad to help.
 
I am not really new here, but I normally very busy to i've not been on here almost at all.
But I have been trying to start a Believers Retreat and I have land east of San Antonio Texas at Western Trails @ Cibolo.
I strongly believe in G-dly Polygamy and want to being believers together. I will also try to go if possible.

Hey all, just a quick update that it looks like we have found a location that works for us, just north of Houston! We are working details out, and should have info ready by end of this month. (It's a hotel location, which seems to work best for winter for us - though https://shepherdspasture.com/ looks interesting, could be considered for a spring/summer retreat, if they would have us.)

Instead it's a proposal of a date for our next retreat: January 20-22nd, 2023, somewhere in Texas. Given that it's January, and I hear ice storms happen like every week in Texas, we're leaning towards something south of Waco, but that still leaves about a million square miles to pick from. Prices of hotels will be a major factor, bribes may also be accepted to consider your hometown.

We'll try to nail location in September, and the date is likely to stick unless there's something major that I'm not aware of right now, like NFL playoff games that weeken... oh, looks like Sunday lunch is at a sports bar.

If someone knows somewhere besides a hotel meeting room that we should consider, bring it forward soon.
