Something can be both inadvisable from a personal perspective, and the thing that God would have you do anyway. The two concepts are not mutually exclusive...

That fits, however there seems to be a pervasive emphasis on non-exclusivity not in keeping with how we practice our relationships.

It is how we can describe them to antagonistic people/institutions.
