My wife and I are Christians and have been for a long time, we visited many different churches and are considering expand our family with a sisterwife. We both agree that god is calling us to make this life change. While my wife is career oriented I am more the business oriented and we chose to start a family together. God blessed us with child. Now God is creating tension in our once harmonious relations and we feel he is pushing us to add to our family a sisterwife. While no family is perfect, we are both prepaired to love and cherish our future nester. Our little one a toddler now my wife wishes to continue her career, while a wonderful mother, she is not the nesting type. We both want more children, my wife does not want any more of her own right now. In our search on polygamy we even went as far as looking into the Mormon churches but we simply are not Mormons, we're Christians. We've been shocked on how little is available to help people seeking in this area. We are in the Tampa bay area of Florida on the gulf coast just a few minutes from the beaches and would love to get 'plugged in' / worship with other like minded people in the area or even start a group up. We searched online and this is one of the few legit feeling sites, so many seem to hide their true motives. Any help with finding local resources or any resources would be most helpful and appreciated. Also, what sites to stay away from. We are seeking all helpful info but we do also have a few questions.
One of our first questions is how does one get 'plugged in' to christian polygamy? It seems it was very prevalent in the old testament but is shunned to silence today. How does one even begin to seek a sisterwife? Other than the obvious praying to our giving Lord and letting go of control.
Here is what we believe Christian polygamy is. are we correct?
We believe in following the Bible new and old testament. We believe in being faithful to each other. We believe in a loving family with free will. We believe 'one man' and 'one woman' means no orgies, that is not what were looking for. We believe in growing God's kingdom and the 10 commandments. We believe God wants Us all to succeed in life with him. Women in polygamous relations have free will and choose to live this way by their own choice. It just makes sense to us, some women have a gift to be a nesting wife and some are called to do other things with their for the family, my wife's gift is she is wonderful at healthcare and helping others get well. We know we are on the right path that God has chosen for us, writing this together declares our belief to lead this life publicly, even though we are unanimous this has felt very just and liberating to put it in writing. Thanks in advance for any help your community can offer us.
