What will be harm to deny the biblical marriage definitions?

A better way to think of this may be, WHAT HAS BEEN THE HARM BY NOT UNDERSTANDING BIBLICAL MARRIAGE?

Christian women forced to chose from unchristian men.
Children born to unsaved men
Children needlessly born to unsaved fathers
Women led away from or abused for their faith.
Widows and divorcees having less options.
allowing the State to control and define marriage.
