Great/inspirational quotes

In Scripture God has revealed to us the meaning of work. All work has meaning, whether it be scrubbing a floor or managing a corporation. It is unthinkable that God’s people should view ordinary work as second-best, as less significant than “gospel work.

Our daily work serves as one of God’s major tools for cultivating and nurturing the life of Christ within us. While we may be eager to have our work used in changing the lives of others, God is eager first to change our own lives through work. Our work can, if we allow it and recognize God’s hand in it, be used to grind us, smooth us, polish us, and fit us for service of the living God.

Secular Work is Full-time Service (1974)
Or as our very own sage, @ABlessedMan puts it, “Work is worship.”

“Christ is the Head of the church: and He is the Savior of the Body” (Ephesians 5:23).

“He is the Head of the Body, the church: Who is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence” (Colossians 1:18).

The church is the Body (Colossians 1:24; I Corinthians 12:27), and Christ is the Head (Colossians 1:18). The church is controlled by the mind of Christ, as the human body is controlled by the human mind. When a man loses his mind (becomes insane), then he is incarcerated and others control him.

“Not holding the Head” (Colossians 2:19).

The very selection of a human head shows that denominationalism is spiritual insanity. Every “church” which has a human head says in effect: “We will not have this Man (Christ) to reign over us.” The headship of man is a repudiation of the Headship of Christ.

The whole human system of human church organization and federation is derived from the Greeks, who patterned the church after their governmental systems. We still have this old Greek system with us, in the multiplicity of sects and denominations, and at the same time the “called out ones” have withdrawn from such human organization.

This is imho also a problem as it relates to a man "Praying with his head covered." It says the man who does this dishonors his head.

Imagine the foolishness of a man praying to God, while acknowledging another man as an intermediate and an authority over him!

Pastor Popes are a bit like public servants (law enforcement) that act like they are over those they pretend to serve. Both are outside the scope of their authority!

2000 years ago those that accepted Yeshua from Judah were reunited with those if the ten tribes that came to faith. They came together (while people still knew where those people groups came from) and appointed themselves ONE HEAD.
The battle cry of the revolutionary war was "No king but King Jesus!" That should be the sentiment of every believer. Thy Kingdom come!

Is this true?

They didn't figured out that new system is actually replacing divine right of kings with divine right of parlament?

That came later. Humans have a tendency to create their own bondage.

The USA never adopted a parliamentary system.

The USA never adopted a parliamentary system.
It's not about exactly which political system.

Divine right of kings: King writes stupid rules you have to follow or you will be send to jail or suffer monetary penalty.

Divine right of parlament: Elected representative write stupid rules you have to follow or you will be send to jail or suffer monetary penalty.

There is no fundamental difference. At least king's favourite lover would be cheaper to bribe.

There are no divine rights in republics. Elected leaders do the right thing or they end up tossed out of power or even jailed and sometimes executed.

Wishfull thinking!
They seem more like that army of locusts in Joel chapter 2....and no truthful exposure of their detestable corruption hurts them.

All tyrannies follow same pattern.

Somebody from above makes rules and you get beaten for disobedience. Here is no difference between king or parlament.

In no practical sense is your representative ever your agent. Can you recall and punish his when he is working against your interest? Can he represent different people with different interest? Nope.

And let's not start with administrative state. Rulemaker, judge and executioner all in one.
