New Life

I know how I was saved.
I had faith in the operation of God to save me from my sin, through faith in believing the power to save me would come through dying to sin as Christ died on the cross, and being raised from sin by the power of God from the dead unto newness of life in Christ. Escaping the pollutions of this world by being in Christ body. Dead to sin, and alive in God.
All those that are dead in Christ, live in Christ.

That is the Gospel.
Sounds like a little wordy way to say that the works (dying to sin) is what actually saved you.

The Gospel seems to hard for some people, so they don't get it.
Romans 5:2
" 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. *

So you are not denying that?

I believe God loved us while we were still sinners, and that is the same love that He wants us to have for our wives. This is not a love that enables our wives to merit our favor, but a love that is bestowed upon our wives regardless of whether they have merited ANY favor from us. Can you say that you had THAT kind of love for your wife?

You answered in the affirmative, right? I don't want to accuse you of saying something that you haven't said. I want to be of assistance, if I can.

My turn for question.
So if your wife has an elicit sexual act with a man, would you then forgive?

Is that what she did? That's a very personal question, so it is irrelevant if she didn't do that to you.

So you are telling me to make sure that my Ts are crossed, and Is dotted or you will find room to argue.
I get it.

No, it was my turn to ask you a question.
And that is my question.
Well, you will never get an answer to that one. I don't have the same struggle you shared here, and I am not about to say anything that could cause hurt feelings to people I care about. I love my wife to death, but I will never hold someone to the standard that they have to forgive their wife for infidelity, regardless of whether I were to hypothetically have to deal with that or not, so I don't know if your question is hypothetical, and if you are here just to vent, I am sure you can find better places to do so.

Leaving. Have a nice day!

John 8:10
When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

If Yahshua can forgive adultery, we should to.
When a woman can be Divorced it wasn't for adultery, it was for pornication. And to sum it up, that is what she is, a pornicator. Not the act. But to sum up ones character.
Can also be that she rather loved the false church.
And some people also believe pornication means sex to close to relationship.
So no, Yahshua never supported divorce over adultery.
And no she never did that.
