Latest update from Pete, this is from his Youtube channel.
Shabbat in Jerusalem w Iron Dome intercepting rockets overhead. The world thinks 'war' and we enjoyed His 'peace'! Had front row seats on an amazing balcony much of the day... cancelled flights, now waiting to see what Yah has next! 😁

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Israel was “at war” and called for a mass mobilization of army reserves. Israeli media, citing rescue service officials, said at least 250 people were killed and 1,500 wounded. An unknown number of Israeli soldiers and civilians have been taken hostage by the terrorists.

I am talking with Gunnar, and Kelly ATM. Gunnar is over the Atlantic Ocean and will be on US soil around 4am. Kelly said their flight was rescheduled for the 13th. They are looking into moving into a hostel for the remainder of their trip. She said the do feel safe. Baruch HaShem!
His new wife safely made it out yesterday. Please continue to pray that Adonai will dismantle the enemy, disarm them and reach their hearts turning them to Yeshua. May He have Mercy on their souls

Shalom, all... We are safe, and yes, I have a second. Details concerning her later.

Current situation, son and second were able to fly out early this morning as scheduled, Kelly and I, however, had flights cancelled. We've been rescheduled for late this week, so making lodging and transportation changes.

Thank you Peter. Relentless prayers for the Nation of Israel and your safe and speedy return home.

The major question has been whether this will remain a Gaza issue or become a larger war. Unfortunately it looks like this may become larger, as Hezbollah has started an artillery attack now, and Israel has responded in kind. It is not clear yet whether they are just dipping their toe in the water with a token action to "express solidarity" but not really commit themselves, or whether this will be the start of a major action. But it has spread beyond Gaza.
Regarding Gaza, Netanyahu has said "I say to the residents of Gaza: Leave now because we will operate forcefully everywhere." But how can residents of Gaza leave? Isn't the whole place blockaded, and one of the most densely populated areas in the world? Obviously Israel is at war with Hamas and needs to target them, but as civilians are crammed in like sardines and have no practical way to get clear of the area, the collateral damage is going to be immense. Hundreds of civilians are reported to have died already on both sides, but thousands will have died before this is over.
Remember there are many Christians living on all sides of this war, and our brothers and sisters who happen to live in Israel, Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon are all in grave danger however this war goes. Pray for the Church - and especially for @PeteR and Kelly.

At least 700 people have been killed in Israel, according to Israeli media sources. A senior Hamas official said the group was holding more than 100 Israeli people, including soldiers and civilians, as hostages.

Continue to pray for wisdom for the IDF leaders as they direct the response in this war, and for the safe recovery of all the hostages. May this evil attack against Israel cause many to trust in the Messiah.

Latest reports say more than 1100 people have been murdered in the terror attacks across Israel. Something that is now coming to light is that some of the hostages are American citizens.

It has been reported that Iran helped plan the terror attack, and gave approval before it began. If correct, that could trigger a much wider regional war.
However Iran is officially denying this, so it is impossible to know at present to what level Iran may be involved:

Iran denies it had a role in Hamas attack

Iran says claims that it played a role in Hamas’s assault on Israel were unfounded.
“The accusations linked to an Iranian role… are based on political reasons,” foreign ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanani told reporters.
Palestinians had “the necessary capacity and will to defend their nation and recover their rights” without any help from Tehran, Kanani added.
His comments came after The Wall Street Journal reported that Iran helped Hamas plan its surprise attacks.

This is beginning to look like a major Black Swan event.
One that was pre planned.

1O God, be not silent; be not speechless;a

be not still, O God.

2See how Your enemies rage,

how Your foes have reared their heads.

3With cunning they scheme against Your people

and conspire against those You cherish,

4saying, “Come, let us erase them as a nation;

may the name of Israel be remembered no more.”

5For with one mind they plot together,

they form an alliance against You—

6the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,

of Moab and the Hagrites,

7of Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek,

of Philistia with the people of Tyre.

8Even Assyria has joined them,

lending strength to the sons of Lot.

Selah
9Do to them as You did to Midian,

as to Sisera and Jabin at the River Kishon,

10who perished at Endor

and became like dung on the ground.

11Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,

and all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

12who said, “Let us possess for ourselves

the pastures of God.”

13Make them like tumbleweed, O my God,

like chaff before the wind.

14As fire consumes a forest,

as a flame sets the mountains ablaze,

15so pursue them with Your tempest,

and terrify them with Your storm.

16Cover their faces with shame,

that they may seek Your name, O LORD.

17May they be ever ashamed and terrified;

may they perish in disgrace.

18May they know that You alone,

whose name is the LORD,

are Most High over all the earth

If the people of Gaza would throw the heads of the terrorists over the fence to the IDF and send the hostages back, the Gazans could be free. If the Lebanese and Iranians did the same, the Middle East would be a different place. Read 2 Samuel 20:16-22; it seems simple and straightforward. But then again the globalist warmongers would have to stir up conflict somewhere else so they can kill and destroy.
