Virgin Wives

If a man is looking to add a first wife - or additional wives - they should be virgins. Of course - there are exceptions - for example, if her husband has past away and she's a widow.

Another exception is if she was fooling around with men; but then found Lord Jesus and repented + believed. Therefore, her sins have been washed clean by his precious blood, and she should have a new heart (Titus 3:5 and Psalm 51:10). Of course - this faith means she has 100% stopped fornicating since becoming a follower of Christ.

Another exception if her husband gave her a certificate of divorce. She should be free to re-marry, and have a protective covering.

But if she claims to be a Christian, but during her life as a Christian she accumulated a body count - then that's a major red flag. You should flee. There's a strong chance she has not been re-born, therefore, she is still in the world. A person that's worldly is still in the flesh:

Romans 8:7
The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so.

Some scripture regarding virgins:

Leviticus 19:29
Do not allow your daughter to commit whoredom lest the land commit whoredom and the land be filled with sin.

The western world thrives on the hook-up culture. It's the fruit of monogamy only. It's the fruit of false teachings that come from demonic spirts (1 Timothy 4:1-3). It's the fruit of teaching commandments of men as the word of the Most High. So it's no surprise things are beginning to burst at the seams in the Western Christian world. The CREATOR knows what's good. What's bad. What was good yesterday. Is good today. What was bad yesterday. Is bad today.

Deuteronomy 22-20-21
If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman’s virginity can be found, 21 she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you.

So it's considered evil to be promiscuous while she is living in her father's house. I think in our lawless society today - if a Christian father had to choose between his daughter hooking up with multiple men - or marrying into a very stable/strong, but a polygamous household (the man already has one wife) - some would actually choose her daughter fornicating with multiple men - versus being in a marriage structure that Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Gideon, and David used.

Matthew 25:1
At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

Leviticus 21:13
The woman he (priest) marries must be a virgin.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Be prepared to not find a wife then. Most Christian women have body counts, unfortunately.

Some high body counts. I'm not just talking about one ex husband.

Welcome to the real world.

I was a virgin, and so was my husband. My sw wasn't raised with Christian teaching, and knows her life would have been different if she had been. Her life brought her into our family....and she wouldn't be here if she hadn't had her son. It was seeing her prioritize him, and issues relating to him that let us see her heart.
Truly all things work together for good to those who love YHWH....and his call on her life led her here.
I trust that all those life experiences will be blessings.....and we all love who she is.

I also assume you were young when married. I’m 51 years old. The chances of me finding a virgin wife are somewhere between slim and none, and slim has left the building. I recognize this fact. Any woman even remotely close to my age will have some type of sexual history.

Please, even a “Christian” can have a come-to-Jesus time.
What matters is whether they are truly repentant of all that is in their past. And that can be hard to ascertain. And if they are, the enemy of our souls will still try to sabotage them and bring them down.

Nothing is certain and nobody is perfect.

It can be. Are they saying they're repentant to please others or has there been true repentance.
Yup, I would say that it may take some time.
Usually, from my experience, people can’t fake it for a long time. It doesn’t take long before: “I’m a grown woman and I don’t have to follow anyone’s rules” comes out.

Correct - they are in the category of finding Lord Jesus and repenting/believing in him. Even a person that labels himself/herself as a Christian - may not truly be reborn.

Over time a believer can tell if their faith is genuine. Or if they are faking it - manipulating you.

Christian women who are are (apparently) truly born again are still “messing up” and having sex in big numbers. Check in any church today.

Explain that one.

There are a lot of tares sown among the wheat.

What are they being taught, if anything?
I haven’t been in churches, so I don’t know if it is even being addressed.

Jesus said, Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ (Matt. 7:22).

Question; who would address Jesus as Lord, Lord? Who would claim, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ Would atheists say these things? Would Muslims? How about Buddhist, Hindus, or Sikhs? The only people who would address Jesus as Lord and make those sorts of claims are people who think they are His followers; i.e. Christians. What adjective did Jesus use in reference to the number of people making those claims? Many!

Wake up people. There are many false disciples and false teachers; there are a lot of tares among the wheat, false claimants to the Faith, wolves among the sheep!

Start thinking biblically and evaluate people under the revealing light of the Word of God. Either Jesus was wrong and everyone claiming to be a follower of Him is a true disciple, or He is correct and many people are going to get a nasty shock on Judgment Day.

Good fruit comes from good trees. Find good fruit and you've got a good tree. Shalom

1 John 3:4-6

4 Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. 5 And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. 6 Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.

1 John 3:9-10
9 Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. 10 So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God.

I don’t understand continuing to “mess up” for a born again Christian woman. The law should be written in her heart, and she should know it’s not right for her to fornicate (or lose her virginity) with no guarantee of a lifelong commitment. Her virginity is not something to give away after a man takes her on a few dates. If a man wants to become one flesh with her, then there needs to be a lifelong commitment offered. Otherwise, he may be just manipulating her for sex. This is why there is less marriage. Men are sleeping around with women, because it’s easy and there’s zero commitment involved. After a few dates - it’s normal to have sex. Rinse and repeat.

What ends up happening is that as these women get older and they realize they no longer have that 18 year old body - they no longer receive the same level of validation they used to from men - so reality hits them. They decide they need to find a good husband soon before they get even older.

Where can you find a decent husband? The church of course - so many will say they’ve been “reborn.” But it could be her realizing her fun time is over, because she needs to settle down and find a husband while she’s still attractive. But if she was able to rewind the clock - back to 18 years old - would she be in church looking for a husband, or hooking up with men again?

There’s born again prostitutes entering the kingdom of heaven - Lord Jesus says. Why? Because they repented + believed + stopping sinning. They regretted their past life. They wished they can go back and never had done the things they did. That’s reborn. But a “born again” woman who shows no remorse for her past behavior, and continues to engage in the old behavior - I doubt she’s been reborn.

They would still be hooking.

Today low value women sleep with high value men. Why? There is chance he may keep her. It usually doesn't work.

If high value man had to marry low value woman after sex things would be different.

Sometimes they do show remorse. For a while. But as soon as they go on some more dates, they are easily manipulated into having sex again. Either that or their love and enjoyment of sex and men is larger than their remorse, or they are unable to control their fleshly desires.

We see this type of action all the time in Christians. Men are not immune. There are men sitting in churches who watch porn. They confess their sins and cry out to God for forgiveness, and truly try to repent. Yet at some point in the future, when faced with temptation again, succumb to their flesh and temptation again and watch porn.

Does that mean they were never Christians to begin with? Paul struggled with this. He said he could not do what he knew he should do and did what he should not do.

Romans 7
17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[c] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
Regarding what Paul wrote in Romans 7 - he goes on to say that the solution is Lord Jesus Christ. When we put our faith in him - it leads to being controlled by the Spirit versus the Flesh. He explains this at the end of Romans 7 and it continues into Romans 8. Christendom likes to use that verse from Paul in Romans 7 to justify their sin. We all fall short sometimes - but it’s different to fall short sometimes versus practicing sin. After being reborn it should be a continual sanctification journey. Paul talks about being babies in the faith - drinking only milk at the start before starting solid foods.

Regarding masturbation:

Leviticus 15:16-18
When a man has an emission of semen, he must bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 17 Any clothing or leather that has semen on it must be washed with water, and it will be unclean till evening. 18 When a man has sexual relations with a woman and there is an emission of semen, both of them must bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.

As you can see - a man having an emission of semen without a woman - he’s unclean till evening. If he has sexual relations with a woman - he is also unclean till evening. He must bathe in water and anything the semen touches. You’ve just become unclean till evening.

Most of Christendom in-correctly believes that looking at “any” woman with lust = adultery. So if they believe this lie from the false teachers - and they still do it - that’s obviously a problem. Because Paul also says if you believe something is sin - and still do it - then you’ve sinned:

Romans 14:23

If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning.

I’m against porn sites, however, because of the sex slavery and prostitution it supports.

It won't work out for him, but continues to be the question. WHY aren't most Christian non married women virgins?
The biggest reason is parents allow their children to be influenced by unchristian teachers and peers through school and also through media.
The world says "get rid of your v-card" and "not all encounters need to be meaningful" while the truth is that the meaning of a sexual relationship can never be separated from the act.
Churches went along with trendy dress fashions, glamorous make up, and the worldly thinking came along too.
Pastor's wife in our small town is an example. Mini skirts, make up and jewelry, throwing a fit about a misunderstanding with an honorable young man interested in her daughter ...instead of letting her husband handle it.
*shrugs* There's a reason we don't attend anywhere.

I'm just showing what the Word says. These guidelines we have are from our Master. They apply for the first wife, and additional wives. It's probably not easy finding one wife - let alone additional wives in today's western society. However, I do pray any God fearing Christian man that's been reborn by the Spirit - can be lead into finding good wives as a blessing from the Most High, and raises them to walk in the faith; and protecting them from the schemes of the adversary. A lot of the things the world values - has nothing to do with what our Master - King Jesus values. I believe all things are possible for the Most High, and nothing is too hard for him.

Having plenty of Biblical Christian households should be a strong pillar of our faith, because the more stable and strong Christian family units = more added into God's Church = more daughters and sons available for marriage between families; which also increases numbers into God's church as long as the children also continue to walk in the faith.

The reason why Christian women are fornicating is very simple. The fathers are failing. The wives are leading. The adversary is raising the children through social media, cesspool public schooling, and movies/shows. A true husband that's been reborn - needs to be aware of the schemes of the Devil. It's his responsibility to help protect his wives and children from spiritual warfare. Relying on a pastor/priest in a tax exempt church isn’t cutting it - the fruit speaks for itself.
