Not me though...
Even though I was already well supplied, I made a last minute impulse purchase of an additional AR15 before the ban went through. It might have been my last chance to ever get another one.Not me though...
Texas Hispanics favor conservative policies more than in other states. Counties on the Rio Grande River that are more than 90 percent Hispanic went Red.Be warned Texans, your state is heading towards the communist democratic party (combination of illegal immigration and the liberal refugee locust swarm from failing blue states) The fall into communist takeover can happen quickly, and it can happen in your state.
ProgressiveThats what we get in a progressive controlled government.
I know there is some truth to what you are saying. I hope you and the other Texans realize there is also some truth to what I am saying. There is danger. Don't rest too much on your laurels. Texas is not as Texas as it thinks it is. Oklahoma is actually more Texas than Texas.Texas Hispanics favor conservative policies more than in other states. Similar to the South Florida Cuban population.
I don’t see Texas going democratic any time soon.
There are some important caveats to this. They appreciate some social safety net stuff; Medicaid and social security being very popular with Hispanics.Texas Hispanics favor conservative policies more than in other states. Abbott won re-election over O'Rourke by a healthy margin...nearly a million votes and 11 percentage points.I know there is some truth to what you are saying. I would hate to see your state go the way this one has. I use to think that Washington liberals were at least libertarian leaning. They aren't any more.
Some people in Texas actually take Beto O, Rourke seriously.
The recent election of Congresswoman Maya Flores in heavily Hispanic South Texas was very encouraging.
I think the absolute insanity and outright wickedness of the Democratic party is starting to alienate a lot of Hispanic voters (who aren't insane or wicked).
The part of Eastern Washington where I live has a very large Mexican-American population. The town where I live and the town I grew up in are both majority Hispanic. There are some very good people, that I hold in the highest regard.
Nevertheless, immigration generally tends to favor the Democrats even among many Mexican immigrants.
I also think the South Florida Cuban-Americanns hate communism more than the typical Texan (or Eastern WA) Hispanic.
LOL sorry. Back to funny memes. We return to scheduled programming.Scuse me. But those last posts are not even RELATED to funny memes.
I'll hope you are right.Abbott won re-election over O'Rourke by a healthy margin...nearly a million votes and 11 percentage points.
Democrats do have stongholds. Mainly Austin (Travis County), Dallas, and Houston. Tarrant County (Fort Worth) went red.
Abbott won 235 counties to 19 for O'Rourke. The County I live in typically votes 70-75 percent Republican, which is typical for most rural and suburban counties. I live in a heavily populated suburb of San Antonio, Comal County.
Republicans have been making huge inroads in South Texas and particularly Hispanics. I happen to be Hispanic BTW and am as conservative as they come. I am not Catholic though and never have been. I have always been Baptist.
With the huge gains Republicans are making in South Texas, I just don't see Texas changing anytime soon. That was a game changer for conservatives. If anything, Texas may swing back the other way and go more like Florida to hard red. Abbott won Zapata County, on the Rio Grande, that is 94 percent Hispanic.
You're right about Oklahoma. Oklahoma is far more rural than Texas, with basically two cities and a bunch of farm and ranch land and forests in between.
I'm not the brains of the operation, but I'm the guy with the cigar LOL.
