As a tangent, "one flesh" always means actual flesh and bone and not a euphemism for coming together(at least in my reading so convince me I am wrong otherwise it stands) in joining the bodies.

Based on Gen.29:14, 37:27; Lev. 18:6; Judg. 9:2; 2 Sam. 5:1, 19:12-13; Neh. 5:5; Isa. 58:7, the word is begging to be translated "family".

The STORY, including the concepts of contract, agency (the un-named good and faithful servant, what it means to "come in the name of," and what constituted Rivka's "acceptance" of the offer) constituted a clear example, and precedent.

The essence of the blinders seem to be here:

Why is there an absence of a definitive mandate? Why is a matter of life and death left obscured? If there isn’t a definitive mandate then we have a major flaw in our scripture. Ergo the mandates that are there have to be definitive.

So, the issue, and the question:

I contend that the most important goal in our lives should be to hear the words from The Master, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant!"

I keep asking this question but, what? I trivialized His Word? I literally said that His Word has to be sufficient and true. I did the opposite of trivialize it. That was a false accusation.

And then you say, “Well the end goal is what matters” and thats supposed to address what? How to achieve the same me goal is what we’re talking about. You can’t be a good and faithful servant if you’re an adulterer. You can’t avoid adultery if you can’t explain what women are actually married or not.

And the Marx Brothers aren’t a cheap shot. That was funny and you know it.
