I post a lot of deep-dive information on a number of platforms, but in a way much of it runs together to create a diminishing overlapping effect.

This one is different. Mrs Zach not only presents new information, she inspires hope -- and don't quit before the Q&A session, because therein lie most of the gems.

P.S. My U.S. House Representative between 1992 and 1998 was Cynthia McKinney. I now wish I hadn't written her off so easily back then. She's a brave soul.

Here's the letter it generated for me:

Dear Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department,

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the proposed regulations discussed in the PDF document titled "Gross Proceeds and Basis Reporting by Brokers and Determination of Amount Realized and Basis for Digital Asset Transactions." Specifically, I would like to address the issue of privacy and the potential risks associated with allowing numerous third parties access to sensitive financial data and personal information, such as social security numbers.

In today's digital age, privacy and data security are paramount concerns for individuals. The proposal to require brokers, including digital asset trading platforms, digital asset payment processors, and certain digital asset hosted wallets, to file information returns and furnish payee statements on dispositions of digital assets raises significant concerns about the safety of personal information.

Allowing multiple entities to access and store individual's financial data increases the likelihood of unauthorized access, data breaches, and the potential for identity theft. It is crucial to address these concerns and reassess the proposed regulations with a focus on protecting the privacy and security of taxpayers.

Furthermore, the sheer number of entities that would have access to personal information raises questions about the adequacy of oversight and enforcement capabilities. It is essential to ensure that these brokers, trading platforms, and payment processors have robust security measures and procedures in place to safeguard the data they collect.

I urge the Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department to carefully consider the privacy implications of these regulations and take necessary steps to mitigate the risks associated with the proposed reporting requirements. Strengthening protective measures, implementing strict data retention policies, and establishing effective oversight mechanisms are vital to maintaining the trust and confidence of taxpaying individuals.

Thank you for considering my concerns and taking the necessary actions to prioritize privacy and data security in the proposed regulations. I look forward to a thorough evaluation and thoughtful response to address the issues raised.

Sincerely,
Keith Martin

Sorry, Keith - but how do you know the AI didn't just install a back-door and rat out all of your crypto to its Big Brother anyway? ;)

They already know how much crypto I have. That ship sailed a long time ago, and there hasn't been a way to obtain initial crypto without government reporting since before I bought my first .13 Bitcoin.

"Drop The Weapon"

Everybody shouting, working up a sweat
Stepping over lines, you know what happened next
More trouble, than anyone can use
It's a pre-determined thing, you lose your right to choose

No way to turn it around
You got no more time, no time to calm yourself down
Once you press the button man it's coming to a head
Pretty soon babe you'll be a long time dead

Little brother I'm telling you now
Your pride can take a hit
Little brother take a deep breath
Cool off man, forget about it

Drop the weapon
Kick it away
Drop your gun
Look the other way
Drop the weapon
Live another day
Drop your blade
Listen, to what I say

Who you trying to impress, you making a bid
To be a big shot brother, but you're just a small kid
Now your reputation got a minor stain
It'll be washed away by tomorrow's rain

Little brother I'm telling you now
Your pride can take a hit
Little brother take a deep breath
Cool off man, forget about it

Drop the weapon
Kick it away
Drop your gun
Look the other way
Drop the weapon
Live another day
Drop your blade
Listen, to what I say

No sound of silence
Just streets of violence
We're in overload
Wrong side of the road
Oh San Francisco
Where the hell did you go
We have enough of that
Peace and love

Drop the weapon
Kick it away
Drop your gun
Look the other way
Drop the weapon
Live another day
Drop your blade
Listen, to what I say

No sound of silence
Just streets of violence
We're in overload
Wrong side of the road
Oh San Francisco
Where the hell did you go
We have enough of that
Peace and love
Come and hold my hand
Then we can all stand
And say a prayer
To someone out there
Anyone out there

Liberalism is just left-wing fundamentalist pietism, the near-identical cousin of right-wing fundamentalist pietism.

For those who didn't figure out consequences.

Rapid advance in any infustry requires higher energy usage. Since nuclear isn't used, speed of advance was slowed to incremental by need to first increase energy efficiency before moving forward. And increments easily got swallowed by inflation.

Only semiconductor industry has advanced rapidly thanks to Deming rule, now not operating. It was effective till 2005. Basic idea is than halving transistor in half improved all tehnical mesures by half. So 2 smaller halved transistors use same amount of energy as one bigger. And current advances are based on fact that relatively cheap technical improvements to transistors can keep rapidly lowering transistor energy usage.

So real price of not using nuclear is wholesome stagnation. Otherwise, all industries would advance fast as semiconductors. Remember, flying cars are practically banned.
