Did you mean 'wholesome' or something like 'holistic' or 'comprehensive?'
Comprehensive, but wholesome is also good. Snagnating industries will get hit by less motivated labor force since all action is somewhere else. Amd rapid growth is needed for young males to finance their families.

Well, it's 2-1 in the bottom of the 5th in the first game of the Feminism World Series. The White Knights came into this contest a clear favorite but are so far just slightly edging out the Red Queens.

I'm tempted to respond to your earlier post, but first I'm trying to figure out if you believe not using nuclear power is the more advantageous strategy.

Why it would be? Not using nuclear is idioitic.

Natural course of economy is growth.
OK. It's just that you wrote that not using nuclear was wholesome, so I was confused.

I agree with idiotic.

The White Knights took Game One.

We're now in the 7th-inning stretch in Game Two. The White Knights dominated the early innings, but in the past two the Red Queens rallied to go ahead 3-2.

Turns out that we are involuntarily a feeding program for the homeless.
If they are hungry enough to go for six-way chicken scratch, well, ok.
It is non gmo, so it’s probably the healthiest stuff that they get.

Ah, don’t start with all of that talking in baseball code. (Yet I understand because my family’s team is the Cardinals). 😁
After a rain delay, the White Knights came back with a run batted in by an infield dribbler that got past the pitcher and the shortstop, so Game Two went into overtime, but sometime after sunset a double by the Red Knights knocked in the winning run: final score; 4-3.

The Series is now tied up with one game apiece.

Now on Red Queens turf, the White Knights have opened with a home run in the top of the 1st by a pinch hitter: 1-0.

Evidently the Marine Corps will be Ball-less on the 16th.

For those who didn't figure out consequences.

Rapid advance in any infustry requires higher energy usage. Since nuclear isn't used, speed of advance was slowed to incremental by need to first increase energy efficiency before moving forward. And increments easily got swallowed by inflation.

Only semiconductor industry has advanced rapidly thanks to Deming rule, now not operating. It was effective till 2005. Basic idea is than halving transistor in half improved all tehnical mesures by half. So 2 smaller halved transistors use same amount of energy as one bigger. And current advances are based on fact that relatively cheap technical improvements to transistors can keep rapidly lowering transistor energy usage.

So real price of not using nuclear is wholesome stagnation. Otherwise, all industries would advance fast as semiconductors. Remember, flying cars are practically banned.
You must mean "Moore's law"

You must mean "Moore's law"
Nope. Moore law only covers cost of transistor manufacturing, not power.

Power is point. Without cutting power all we woild got is very cheap calculators, not laptops or smartphone. Simply, transistors would overheat which forces you to lower their speed which means way too slow for many applications.

Overheating problems have started in 2000s. Without Demeng rule they would started in 60s. And in laptops and mobe phone battery technology has advanced miserly. Battery life improvement has come almost all by cutting power usage.

Red Queens tied it up with a sacrifice fly that provided the opportunity for a man on 3rd to reach home base.

In subsequent innings, Red Queens have repeatedly left runners on base while White Knights have consistently gone down 1,2,3 with strikeouts.

Going into overtime with 1-1 standoff.

And there it is: White Knights choke by arguing about rules while what should have been a double got maneuvered into a home run by the Red Queens during the first tat-bat in the bottom of the 10th. Center fielder was so cocky believing he'd caught the deep fly ball that he refrained from throwing his 'catch' into the infield long enough to inspire the runner to start back up again and make it to 3rd. Outfield ump had already declared the catch invalid because the ball was insufficiently lodged in the glove before making contact with the astroturf.

As center fielder stormed back and forth from left to right fields, still maintaining his death grip on his 'catch,' he temper-tantrumed at length about how the rules didn't apply in this case and that the emotion of the moment was a more definitive measure relevant to judgment of the play. Meanwhile, the Red Queens runner pretty much waltz into home plate.

Of course, the White Knights coach challenged the decision, the MLB honchos gathered in their special review boxes and conferred with their muckety-mucks while video of the misbegotten catch looped on the Jumbo Tron, but the call stood, and we're on to Game Four with the Red Knights up in the series 2 to 1.
