You are right. It isn't the Amish. It is the global oligarchs.

No, it's the Muslims and they mostly kill each other over mindless grudges that are sometimes centuries old (like with the Shiites and the Sunnis) and they've been endlessly hostile to non-Muslims because their religion orders them to wage war on non-Muslims until the non-Muslims either die or surrender.

Here are 109 verses from the Koran that inspire violence from the Muslims against non-Muslims and more frequently against each other.

Western liberals tend to see recent history as the sum of history while the Muslims see all of history as if it happened yesterday. They don't forgive or forget. They nurture grudges and they will make treaties with their historic enemies to lull them into lowering their defenses. Which is why I will celebrate the four peace treaties Israel obtained from the Muslims while also praying that the Muslims do not follow their historic pattern of violating these treaties when it suits them.

Oligarchs are a problem all their own but you don't understand that Muslims would hate us regardless because their religion demands it of them. Being nice to them won't make them hate you any less.

Some years ago my church took in a refugee family. They'd come to the US as Muslims and discovered Christianity and converted. They had to flee their immigrant community because their former friends now wanted to kill them because the only way you are allowed to leave Islam is by death. That got me to read the Koran and learn about Islam.

I like their rules about hospitality and I've informally adopted them. Basically, they say it's a lie to give or accept things from people you hate/loathe/detest. I agree.

But the rest of it is enormously arrogant and intolerant of anyone who doesn't believe exactly the way they do.

Just like the modern leftists.

Feel free to read their holy book if you wish and discover this for yourself. The original Majid Fakhry translation is almost unique in that it is the only translation that was done by a native Arabic speaking cleric. Most of the English language translations were done by native English speakers and most of them were secular and liberal and they almost uniformly edited out the passages that speak to violence and the treatment/abuse of women. Many of them also edit out the passages that are openly favorable towards polygamy.

When the god that you follow is an alternative to the real one, you don’t get led towards light and life.

Note to all us all, if we cannot forgive someone we are not following our Creator.

Megan,
I have to at least halfway agree with you. Islam is a violent religion, and has been since the days of Mohammed.

Islam is a false religion. Islam has always been at war with everyone else, and always will be. Islam is at war with itself and always will be. Historically Islam has spread by the edge of the sword, rather than persuasion.

Yes, Islam is a huge problem.
I just think the oligarchs are a threat as great or greater. I also think Islam and the oligarchs frequently ally against their common foe, Christ and His people.

The oligarchs persuaded the people of the West not to reproduce, and then brought in the Muslims to replace them.

I do have a copy of the koran (I'll have to check to see if it is the translation you mentioned). I haven't read much of it. I know you are right in saying that it promotes violence.

A while back I read an interesting novel about a dystopian future in Europe where Islam has taken over and enslaved the Christians and native European people. Pretty good read by Tom Kratman entitled "Caliphate".

How weird!!! That's one of Steve's books and I read it this last year! It was written like 20 years ago and the President in it sounds like a version of President Trump. It was a fun book to read and it's awesome someone else knows it too! :)

I also just read that book about a year ago. I saw it referenced in the bibliography of another book called "The Red Cliffs of Zerhoun" by Matt Bracken. That is also a pretty good novel. It deals with the issue of Muslim pirates kidnapping young schoolgirls to sell into slavery.

I've read that book, too. It wasn't as fun to read as Caliphate was. It's also very critical of Muslims and Islam. I'm curious why you read and promote books that don't present Islam in a positive light yet you seemingly defend Islam and Muslims. Or at least you took offence to my joke which did little more than make an observation about how Muslims and particularly Arabs tend to think.

I also liked "Califate" better than"The red cliffs".

To answer your question - Maybe I'm inconsistent in my thinking. Maybe I'm more influenced by political correctness culture than I realize. That is a good possibility.

Maybe I am just kind of obnoxious.

Maybe it is the distinction between race and religion. I wouldn't regard myself as "antisemitic" in the sense of thinking poorly of people of the Jewish race, though I am "anti-judaic" seeing modern Judaism (and even secular atheistic judaism) primarily as Talmudic rather than Torah based, and centered on the rejection of Christ, not the faith of Abraham or Moses. I love Jewish followers of Jesus, the true children of Abraham.

Followers of Christ must oppose false religion. Neither Judaism nor Islam submit to Christ, and are therefore false religions.

Likewise with Arabs and Muslims. Islam does much evil in the world. Most Arabs are Muslim. Still, some Arabs are believers in Christ (sadly not that many).

At the same time, I do recognize very real differences between people of different races. For example, Northeast Asians (Japan, Korea etc.) have the highest IQs on average, and also have the lowest levels of testosterone and associated athletic ability and agression. Likewise, Sub Saharan Africans have lower IQs and higher testosterone levels. People of European ancestry are in between on both of those metrics.

Still, I don't think that is a moral matrix. We are all descended from Adam. We are all made in the image of God, and yet we have all also fallen, and become corrupted. The good news of Christ goes out to everyone, and some people from every tongue tribe and nation will savingly believe in Him. People from all the nations will inhabit both the New Jerusalem and the lake of fire. It is all about Jesus.

Well, then, there is more than a small possibility that you and I are brothers from different mothers!

There is no need to debate which is the real threat. The problem is the antiChrist spirit. These are just manifestations of it. So is Judaism, transgenderism, atheism, and a whole manner of other philosophies.

Islam is however closer to Christianity than any of these other philosophies, in that it is the only one that recognises Jesus in some fashion. The Quran is a fascinating read. It certainly encourages violence in many ways, it is not a healthy book. However, in between the calls to violence, it says a lot of really good stuff about Jesus. It mentions Him more than any other individual - even Muhammad. It makes a big deal of the virgin birth of Jesus, paralleling Jesus and Adam, in that they are the only two men who have come directly from God with no human father - in other words it explains the "first Adam / last Adam" concept just in different words. It also states that Jesus is alive and will return in the end times. These many references to Him give a good stepping stone towards Jesus for those who God is calling. And many Muslims are coming to Jesus.

The greatest enemy to you depends where you are and how Satan is working there. In Nigeria, Islam is a great threat to Christians. But in the West, the secular oligarchy is currently more powerful and more of a threat - and they strategically misdirect people's concern towards Islam as part of a smoke-and-mirrors act so you don't see the more present danger.

Hence the USA heading around the world fighting Muslims while your own country is being quietly subverted from the inside. It's a great distraction.

All true, @FollowingHim, but the original point that the humor was based on legitimate premises is still a legitimate one.

Have you heard any good jokes lately about the AntiChrist spirit?

A man is walking down a street in Belfast, Ireland.

Suddenly he's dragged into an alley and a terrorist in a black mask points a machine gun at him!

The terrorist asks the man, "So, are you a Protestant or a Catholic?"

The man stands a little straighter, "Neither! I'm an atheist!"

The terrorist pokes him with the gun, "Aye, but are you a Protestant atheist or a Catholic atheist?"

I read a sanitized translation and even it was pretty clear. You can’t live in a Muslim majority culture and be free or even secure if you’re not also a Muslim.

And yet there are Christians in Iraq and other places who after over a thousand years of Muslim rule are being forced out of the country since the 'Christian' US invaded.

I don't fully understand why or how that happened; but the situation is a lot more complex than 'Muslim bad'.

I haven't read Caliphate yet but I have several other works of Kratman; all were good reads.

And you're required to pay all the taxes and avail yourself of none of the tax-provided services.
