Ah, Natalie Wood!

My favorite Maria.

I wish the authors of the new testament had talked more about Maria
I think they deliberately chose not to, and kept the location of her grave secret for good reason. They did not want a cult to form around her. They were unable to prevent it happening to some degree, but imagine how much worse it would be if we knew where she was buried? There'd be a massive temple there and it would be considered the holiest site in the world to Christians and Muslims alike, and an idol that drew everyone away from God.

The New Testament authors knew what they were doing.

Perhaps that's why God in His wisdom did the same with Moses? No body found.

The Catholics claim to know the location of Mary’s last home and possibly tomb. It’s the ruins of a small stone house on a hill overlooking Ephesus in Turkey. I’ve been there. It’s a picturesque spot to be sure, complete with springs allegedly possessing healing properties.

2 Peter 1:20-21 KJV
[20] Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. [21] For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

While Peter is referring to the Old Testament Scriptures here, there is no reason to think the New Testament Scriptures were not inspired in the same fashion. So, the references to Mary that are given are exactly the amount God wanted to include.

I occasionally get videos that pop up on my Youtube newsfeed from American tv stations, normally Inside Edition. The reporting is awful. I don't know if this is what all reporting in the USA is like, or if they've shortened things for Youtube or what.
For example, there's this video here. It's about a girl killed in the tornado. But, I'm left with a bunch of questions. How are her siblings? Where are her parents? Was she with her parents? Where are they now? Why were they interviewing the Aunt and she didn't say anything about the siblings and parents? It was so weird. Are they short on time? And this is just one example, I've seen a bunch of them.

saw this today, i suppose everyone else saw it a year ago but:

if we all started wearing masks that say "Trump"
on them, how long before experts would decide we don't need masks anymore?

lol

Or worse, Trump Won!

National news and most big city news in the USA is mostly advertising pretending to be news. And it all has this weird insincerity to it all like the people who report this nonsense are either just actors or sometimes they let on that they don't believe what they're saying.

For a long time now I like to watch this channel on You Tube because they just report news and mostly leave the ads and opinions out of it.

I'm loving the fact that it's so easy to find squid, cuttlefish and shrimp in Texas, not to mention Asian cuisine in general . . . check out this map at: https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...nguage-every-us-state-besides-english-spanish

I think that means a 'her' that needs to shave. :p
That's good, MeganC, but I don't use it that way. It's just a third-person singular pronoun used when it could apply to either a him or a her, instead of always saying, "him or her," or "them" when it's really only referring to one person instead of a group.

Nothing whatsoever to do with either transgenderism or gender denial.

I sooo prefer them or their.
It doesn’t feel like we are caving to the sex-confused.

Well, good, so use them, and I promise I won't ask you, "What is this them and their business?"

I don't particularly like caving in to anyone, whether they're the sex-confused or the sex-unconfused!

Hey, it was a random comment.
Nothing personal ;)
