War propaganda: don't fall for it

We are already in a Civil War.
We have been in one for decades and the globalists have been winning. What the rest of the world sees as the US has actually been the manifestation of the globalist agenda being carried out through the manipulation of the US.
I actually liked George W, until I began to realize that he was one of them and not one of us.

As far as Venezuela, it’s all part of the 3D chess game, and to the disappointment of the older powers, we aren’t going to war there.

I totally support our military strength, but it should be used as a deterrent, not as a global police force.
Kinda like our nukes, great to have but you don’t want to be forced to use them.

I agree, so long as it’s not a calculated trap to ensnare us. But you’re right, something has to give.
The trap has been calculated and recalculated. it is indeed designed for us which is why we'll need the Messiah to save us.... but, on the reversal, their trap for us is what will be their demise and in Him and the power of His might, we'll see protection and victory.

The practical answers to 'how to act/ what to do...' I'm pretty limited there. Walk by the Spirit and listen to His voice.

It is coming...

Could not agree more!
I have long thought when hearing about all the technology the military has....so what? There is nothing that can touch the holy spirit communication system of YHWH. And he has the ability to make their weapons useless and of no effect. And Philip was transported super naturally after talking to the eunich.
Shucks, what our God can do is the stuff sci fi geeks dream of....but this is the reality of YHWH's power, that has been given to King Yeshua!
The coming battle, and deliverance will be AWE INSPIRING and make YHWH's name GREAT in all the earth!
Time to stand in the holy place for sure. (Pure in heart...clean hands...repentant and reverent?) But seeing the cleansing and then deliverance of His people that are in bondage .....who would want to miss that? I know that only Caleb and Joshua had what it took....I'm sure there are men like them today.....the sons of God will be revealed.

Very nice. Thank you for that... and, written between the lines us a clear message to the average American that includes warning and wise course of action...

Michael Hudson is a brilliant economist. I used to think that the United States promoted freedom in other countries but that is a big lie. These are two other good articles by him:

This old Moody Science video gives some food for thought. What has happened to individual societies in the past is happening on a global scale now.
THAT was very interesting and enlightening. I've read in other settings some of what he presented, but never so concise, thorough, and interrelated. Excellent piece of scholarship!!! Thanks, bunches, @frederick !

I will echo @rejoicinghandmaid in thanking you for sharing that, @frederick. If you haven't heard of it yet, I highly recommend you check out Sir John Glubb's essay, The Fate of Empires, which goes into somewhat more detail about these civilizational cycles. The entire essay can be found on YouTube here, and it's less than an hour and a half. For those with shorter attention spans, here's a ten-minute review by BlackPigeonSpeaks:

One of the interesting things the full book goes into is how, during the fall of the Arab Empire in 9th century Bagdad, there was a loss of religion, mass imigration, loosening sexual morals, women gaining higher positions of power, and lewd popular folk songs on a guitar-like instrument; not things you would normally expect in an Islamic empire!

What he doesn't point out, though you have, and I had also picked up on, is that with our increasingly larger empires each cycle (due to improved technology), and with the resulting globalised culture and economy, the next collapse will be on an unprecedented global scale. Which will provide just the crisis that the final world dictator will need to "save" us from...

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.

Bingo!

Now that the president has received a clean bill of health from Dr M’s colonoscopy, the truth can be investigated and exposed.

Wow, @Shibboleth -- another work of well thought out and researched scholarhsip! I especially liked the call to action at the end. It always encourages me so very much when I see our men taking the lead and pressing the charge!!

Maybe. As we have seen, the opposition seems to always have the next strategy or two ready for a new round. Truth is not what they are seeking. Agenda, their agenda, is what they are pushing forward. New World Order, Socialism, Liberalism, Baal Worship (sacrificing the born and unborn) etc.

The lines of attack will be ready when the present line of attack fails again. This fight against truth and righteousness is far from over.

Maybe. As we have seen, the opposition seems to always have the next strategy or two ready for a new round.
The reality is that the opposition is playing checkers while he is playing chess. In The Art of War, it is a strategy to appear weak when you are strong.
He lost the House, so what? The Senate was key.
He also got rid of some of the opposition from his own party in the Senate and replaced them with good guys. Nancy is a toothless Chihuahua, she makes a lot of noise but she is powerless.
Not to mention that the Democrats, which have always made the Republicans jealous by how monolithic and lockstep they ha been, are coming unglued. Never interfere when your enemy is destroying itself.
Meanwhile the Senate is filling the judicial appointments at a great pace. I mean seriously, two SC justices in his first two years? With Ginsburg dangling over the flames while he owns the Senate? Not to mention that after his authority is fully established, proof of Barry’s ineligibility vacates the two SC seats that he filled.
Barry’s intention was to fundamentally change this country, but all that he was really doing was speeding up the direction in which we had been heading. Donald is actually changing the country.
The long game is looking great, we are watching a movie here.

This is the optimistic analysis I pray is true.

I saw one of the guys here had shared this meme on Facebook the other day (when looking over my wife's shoulder, I don't use that website...), and I think this is a great time to illustrate how our emotions are used to steer us towards compliance. I'm not having a dig at the person who shared this, just using it as an illustration of a principle.

Yes, socialism has problems, capitalism is better. But that's not what's happening here.

This is war propaganda.

This is how the "elite" who control the media and governments use your natural and often correct views and emotions, to steer you towards sending your sons and husbands off to die for someone else to earn money.

In this specific example, a truck with humanitarian aid attempted to enter Venezuela and ended up on fire. The aid was not requested by the legitimate, elected government of Venezuela (elected by a vast majority through an electoral system described by Jimmy Carter as "the best in the world", and with far less scandal than the last US election). The aid was rather being sent in a blatant attempt to support a sedition attempt by an unelected individual who has been declared president by several foreign governments including the USA.

And there is substantial video and eyewitness evidence to demonstrate that the truck was likely torched by the opposition, deliberately, simply in order to create the very photo in that meme and make everyone think Venezuela is evil enough to need "regime change".

Don't fall for it. Yes, socialism has problems. But don't let anyone use emotion to get you to jump from that fact to supporting their political games.

The Belgian historian Anne Morelli outlined in 2001 (before 9/11) ten principles of war propaganda, which she compiled from earlier historians:
1. We don't want war, we are only defending ourselves
2. The other guy is the sole responsible for this war
3. Our adversary's leader is evil and looks evil
4. We are defending a noble purpose, not special interest
5. The enemy is purposefully causing atrocities; we only commit mistakes
6. The enemy is using unlawful weapons
7. We have very little losses, the enemy is losing big
8. Intellectuals and artists support our cause
9. Our cause is sacred
10. Those who doubt our propaganda are traitors.

Remember them. Because when you're seeing several of those at once, you're not being told news, you're hearing war propaganda.

Right now, we're told (1) the USA doesn't want war in Venezuela, but (2) whatever happens it's all Maduro's fault, because (3) he is evil, and (4) we're just defending democracy (by trying to overturn a democratically elected leader, but let's just believe that doublethink anyway). (5) Maduro is deliberately shooting his people and even burning trucks. (8) We're even holding concerts with famous people to support our cause. (10) Anyone who doubts our propaganda is just a Maduro apologist.

That's 7 of the 10, and two of the others cannot be used yet because the shooting hasn't started. The only relevant one I haven't seen so far is "our cause is sacred", and I probably just missed it.

Don't fall for it. Instead of believing the "news", have a read of this classic book: Falsehood in Wartime, by Lord Arthur Ponsonby, a politician in the UK before, during and after WW1. Here he goes through all the major lies that were told to get the war started, get the populace to sign up to die for the cause, and keep them deceived throughout it. It's incredibly enlightening, as many stories that have been reproduced in history books are shown to be completely fake.

Very interestingly, the fake atrocities described in WW1 bear enormous similarity to the claimed atrocities used to persuade soldiers that their cause is just in recent combats. For instance, Chapter 6, "The mutilated nurse", is an invented tale of German treatment of Belgian women spread among British troops. It is almost identical to tales told to German troops at the same time about Russian treatment of women (Chapter 30A). And, it is almost identical to the rumours spread through the US army about Saddam Hussein's alleged treatment of women a century later (as related in Ballad for Baghdad). The same stories are recycled in every generation - whether they are completely true, deliberate lies, or somewhere in between, can be impossible to determine even in hindsight.

But we must remember that people do want to use our emotions to get us to sacrifice our lives for their political or financial aspirations, and be vigilant not to fall for it.

So please don't spread war propaganda, even if it ticks your political boxes. Your political preferences are being used by the propagandists to ensure their propaganda is spread.

I better finish on a humorous note, given I've poked a stick in a giant hornets nest and beaten it around. Though many a true word is spoken in jest:
If every debate about US interventionism was about Godzilla instead.
I saw the videos too. The opposition rebels were throwing incendiary bottles and one hit the truck. Then media here balmed the border patrol people that were way behind in the venezuela side.
I have traveled to venezuela 3 times in the last 2 years and can say we get a selective part of the story. There is food at international prices that most people can no nonger afford with 5 dollar equivalent monthy salary . They can only afford the gov subsidy foods. Hence the lines for those foods only. Here if Walmart has only one line for food stamp buyers it would wrap into the parking lots too.
I had dollars so stayed in 4 star hotels for about 12 a night, ate quite well and flew Conviasa 40 minute flight for about 11 dollars round trip. So is a perspective thing. The economic and banking blockade we imposed on them has yielded to the problem.. venezuela did buy most things including many food and med items from us and our allies. Now there is a banking seige that will not let payments in. So they can't buy or sell from many other countries connected to us. Maduro is stubborn too and I think he should have switched to the euro or dollar. So is complex.. But if you have a foreign income, cost of living is about 70 plus percent less than other places. A 3 bd house on the beach about 5k dollars. So for the brave and willing, it can work. There are several thousand Colombians living there still. Cost of living is the main reason. So yes, there is still plenty of unregulated price food and cheap homes. I am not sure what will happen with property when we or some of our oligarch vassals occupy them.
The main reason many poor people voted for socialism is that they were very, very poor and jumped on people who gave them cheap food and housing. Here we have similar incentives for the democrat voting, just similar motivations.
Seems like our only real dielectic choices are fasism or socialism?
I do not agree with socialism at all, but is their choice. We left a socialist country when I was little because future and incentives are very limited. People self deceive and rationalize it.
It's all about central human control. No matter what side of the dialectic we live in. Our global oligarchs control both sides and offer the solutions they want.

Majority rule is democracy right?
If the majority want something, they vote for it. That is the case in Venezuela and some other places.

There in venezuela many ignorant programmed people also see farming as a low class thing, they rather wait in long lines. Crazy..

A little more than half are still loyal to maduro, especially the poor who get gov help known as clap, hosing etc.
Most venezuelans are not ok with forceful occupation. They like to be their own country. It's complicated.

I forget, it's been said venezuela has the largest oil reserves worldwide. A little coveting and propaganda from our oligarch owned media and state perhaps? Why don't they talk about other humanitarian problems in the middle East like Yemen, Palestine etc..

Yes, watch for the rebel guys with red cross t shirts throwing incendiary bottles from below bridge and behind tucks. It was either an accident or maybe a crude false flag. Not sure.
