Biblical Families is not a dating website. It is a forum to discuss issues relating to marriage and the Bible, and to offer guidance and support, not to find a wife. Click here for more information.
I just heard about this recently. For me it is another help in figuring out some of my inner battles. Another outside perspective that can help us figure out how to make positive changes.

Thank you for sharing @Stanfam7 this amazing encounter with you friend. It was a true kindness of God for him to lay things out in the way he did for you and your friend. Hold on to the memories of that day when other conversations don't go...
As much as I thought I used to hate the debate on the details of this topic, I’d rather we argue over when marriage begins than over a personal clashes over triviality.

12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Hmmm... I suspect your description of salvation came the Book of Common Sense because I see there is no Bible reference given.
Salvation is a gift from God where He rescues the sinner from His eternal wrath through the substitutionary sacrifice...
And, once again, it devolves into something else completely and also personal when @MemeFan comes along.
Perhaps we get back on track with the original post question and thought?
