What kind of music do you like?

Some seasonal fun

You should hear the Deck the Halls compilation of songs that includes this one, the Bee Gees "Stayin Alive" remake, and a "Billy Jean" remake!

This is a good version of Ava Maria by Jackie Evancho:

One thing I like about early jazz was that it was pure musicianship; no computer bells and whistles to hide talent like now. They don't make music like this no more:

What is interesting is that a lot of talented artists are never played on the radio or become famous and are stuck in obscurity. This artist is amazing:

This is another one as well:

I don't know if people listened to these songs but I will post a few more relating to Christmas:

This is a good Christmas song of worship:

Little Drummer Boy by Pentatonix:

This is one of the best Christmas songs and it doesn't even have words:

It wasn't something I was able to in Jr. High, but I've always loved all things Carpenters. Karen was a vocal and instrumental genius.

They grew up in the Methodist church and I believe their father was born as an MK in China.

This is an amazing song. Is it any coincidence that plural life demands the same surrender as following the Master?

No kidding, these lyrics say it all. Both from our perspective to God and a wife's perspective to her husband:

"Anything I thought I knew for certain Everything I thought would lie ahead
You hid from me behind tomorrow's curtain
I couldn't even take a step without being lead
I'm uneasy with this journey, I confess
But knowing You and knowing You know best

I'm letting go, I'm setting free
My ideas of what this life should be
I'm letting go, I'm letting You
Lead the way the way You always do
I'll take Your hand, You choose the road I'm letting go, I'm letting go

If You choose the path I've never wanted And fill my heart with questions I don't know
Help me see Your will and lean upon it
And open up my stubborn hands to give You control
I have felt the joy of following Your plan
So I will trust when I don't even understand"
