Lauren, I tried to send these to you, but couldn't figure how to attach them to a private message .....and they trust me to work as a research scientist, Haha! I love art. Now that I am posting these public for everyone to see, I gotta do some public bragging about my hubby.....because I miss him so much. As you all can tell, I love to paint flowers. My husband knows how much flowers inspire me and he had this ring made for our 15th anniversary. I am glad I didn't get it a year sooner. I think I am able to appreciate it more at this stage.

Hi Jennifer!

Yes I don't think the messaging system allows for pics attached from what I can see - only to link hosted images from the web

These are very fun! My favorite is the one of the pink house.

The pink house is my favorite too. If I could have a real pink house, I would. However, hubby would never go for it. Maybe a pink art shed if I am really good, Haha.

The flowers and fence were done in Coronado, Ca. The pink house was painted in Eureka Springs, Ar. The boat was painted in Olympia, Wa.

Do any other ladies have art work they would like to share or some sort of craft? I like looking at other people's creations.

My dream is to have a booth at a farmer's market, wear a fancy Victorian inspired dress and sell watercolor post cards. Oh and have Hydrangeas and tea pots to decorate my booth. I also dream of having my own lab for private research and tinkering. I am still not sure what I want to be when I grow up, as you can tell. Nathan likes to build stuff so in our retirement years maybe we can have a booth together. He's not much into my science and math dreams.

Ladies, should we make a thread devoted to artistic pursuits? We can post our creations, whatever they maybe. I probably won't have anything to contribute for a few months, besides what I already posted. However, I love looking at creative works and would love the inspiration from browsing such a thread.

The design was his creation after putting puzzle pieces together from a book. We had a wonderful time doing it together, as he is actually my youngest stepson. It increased the bonding for us. He's a gem just like his 3 brothers.

So beautiful! You are very talented as well!

I love to quilt! My youngest son and I created a pattern and I chose the material to work this particular quilt.

All my other quilts I used patterns or pictures to imitate.

Whoa! Very nice! I'm always impressed by people who quilt! It seems likes you have to be so accurate in all these small pieces and keeping them just right.

It's really fun to see all the beautiful things y'all create. :)
